AWEFUL!! AWEFUL!! AWEFUL!! I have had the same problems that other people have posted on this tip line. They are by far, THE WORST property managment company I have ever rented from. Call the city inspectors office, they called him a ""slumlord"". I went home in January for a family emergency, so I contacted a local agency to help with rent as I needed money to go home and pay my other bills. I turned in the housing voucher on Jan. 31st, for Feb. rent. All he had to do was fax it to them. He said, ""It is not my responsibility to contact agency's on your behalf"". Nobody asked him to contact ""agency's"" and it was only one agency. In addition to that, he sat on the voucher until Feb. 7th. and then had the audacity to charge me late fees and kick me out of my apartment. If you do decide to rent from this slumlord, do yourself a favor and immediately request a new lease after your lease expires. This is how he maintains control of you. more

By far the worst rental company I have ever had to deal with! They kept filthy building conditions and took forever to resolve repairs....if they even got resolved. Nothing ever worked properly, Leaks, disruptive/violent neighbors, vomit in the hallway, broken doors and locks, the list goes on. I have never been so disrespected by a company in my life. more

This place is terrible. They didnt replace the frayed up carpet (but I guess that's my fault because we did see it and didn't ask if they were replacing it). They didnt clean very well at all!! I had to clean everything. Only surface areas were clean so when we quick glanced at it, it looked decent. There was grease all over the hood of the stove, cupboards were filthy, inside and out, all sort of crap under the stove (magnets, cereal, dust bunnies, etc.), grease in over and drawer underneath, dirty floor, grease splatters on walls, fridge dirty insdie and out (layer of food/dust/nastiness inside, THICK layer of grease in drip pans.... thick layer of dust on fans (bedroom and bathroom).. thick layer of dust and junk inside vents (quarters, GLASS, jewelry, etc.).... ""yellow"" drippings in the bathroom (as if someone had smoked in there and the condensation is making it run.... pee behind toilet, soap scum on tub.... i could go on.. but i think u get the picture of how much i cleaned (it took me weeks) then when our garage was damaged it took them months to come fix it.. same with other repairs we needed.. we have to call back over and over and over!!! they dont clear yard of branches, leaves etc... they dont take care of ice at all.. parking is terrible... also they turn our heat of in May (pretty sure we live in North Dakota! May is not an acceptable month to be turning the heat off!!! I think they turned it back on in October! We had to turn our oven on for heat... when you call about a concern you can never get a hold of anyone! They are just terrible. more

Terrible Staff and Owner 7/6/2011

Too bad there isn't an option for NO STARS. The staff and owner are horribly unprofessional...It's obvious to anyone, assuming you can actually speak to someone there. Most of the time they avoid phone calls and rarely return calls. If they do, it's the owner bullying the tenants into backing down when they stick up for themselves. Trash. more

Ridiculously horrific rental company 11/8/2010

This management company is not worth my time or money. I first called about a bees nest on my kitchen window. They said they would take care of it ""right away"". Right away became two weeks and I ended up borrowing a ladder from across the street at the museum and bought a can of Raid to kill them myself. The next instance I called about was my bedroom window. It fell out of its track and I couldn't get it to close. They said they put in a work order. Nothing happens once again. I called about 5 times to see why it was still broken (as winter approaches). No intelligent response in return. Then maintenance shows up for a completely different reason and spackles the ceiling all the while getting it all over the floor, chair, rug and curtains. I came home one day to find maintenance in my apartment and when I asked if they fixed the window they said they never received an order to fix a window. In all these instances I was NEVER called or notified of entry into my apartment. That is rule #1 of renters rights. Reasonable notice of entry. The final straw that broke the camels back was an eviction notice on my door saying I didn't pay my rent or any subsequent late charges. Then how come my rent check showed up as taken out of my account?? And hypothetically speaking, if I hadn't paid my rent, why wasn't I informed of any late charges, etc?? They have literally been a constant headache since I signed the lease. It's like dealing with a bunch of kids in junior high who shouldn't be in business. I'm seriously considering calling the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. more

WORST PLACE I""VE EVER BEEN 3/9/2010

What can i say... the managers here seem like they didnt even finish high school... they have no idea how to operate a business like this and should not be! Upon moving into a different apt. than the one i looked at (because the old tennants needed more time to move out) i discovered that i didn't have a washer n drier in the unit like the other had, the heater decided to stay on full blast in the middle of june and i not only had to pay the elctric bill it took forever to get someone out to change the thermostate. my bathroom ceiling has a hole in it now from the water leaking from upstairs, maint. came to fix that but left the hole and water damage in my apt. as is. the 1st fridge in the apt was so old n didnt cool properly so i could only buy just enuf food for a day at a time i couldnt even keep milk in the apt for my first month here because it would b warm by the morning. i got a 2nd fridge finally brought to me and it was so full of mold who knows what else the maint. ppl dropped it with me and left me to clean it, when we pulled the 1st fridge out i found a few years worth of grime garbage n old food under it that hadn't been cleaned or obviously checked by management before i moved in, (yet the managers themselves were the ones in ""cleaning"" it for me to get it ready) i cleaned the nasty fridge only to find that its compressor was blown so it heated the fridge more than cooled it... finally i got a 3rd fridge brought (about a month into all this) and it finally worked. the holes in my garage walls werent fixed for around 2 months and they get broken into so i couldnt even park my car in the garage i was paying for. i'm still waiting after a year for them to come and put up towel racks in the bathroom and a mirrow over the hole in closet door. i have pics of many of the mentioned things and if thats not enuf for you just ask cuz there is more than this that has occured in not even a full years time. DONT WASTE YOUR $ go ANYwhere else!!!! Pros: they will rent to ANYBODY Cons: dealing with slumlords more

ridiculous policy 6/14/2009

Their policy is ridiculous!! If you want to rent an apartment from them, they ask you pay the application fee first instead of showing the apartment. How can I decide whether I like it or not without seeing it? The staffs are careless and they answered there is no refund no matter if you would rent it or not. It doesn't make sense! more

Bad Managment and Extremely Unorganized 11/8/2008

Very slow at getting things done or respond to callbacks...their staff is very unorganized and the consequences of their lack of good office management falls on the tenants! Bad Management Makes Living Here Like A Jail 7/23/2007

Nice apartments. but when it comes to getting things fixed you better call 2 months in advance. and have good medical insurance. We had birds in our chimney the first day we moved in and they are still there 2 months later! Housing authority is getting involved. Id rather live under Goldmark. The Appliances are way out of date and never been updated. Carpets are stained and never been replaced. any questions email me. more
