Dr. Haerther has saved my dogs eye and operated on my other dogs tumors,HELPED OUT WITH MEDICATIONS AND LOVING PROFESSIONAL ACCURATE ADVICE OVER THE YEARS. THE DR. SURELY KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS DOING AND HAS EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE THAT IS INVALUABLE TO HELP SAVE OUR PETS He loves our pets. Many times I prayed for my dogs when I leave them for a procedure, he has done it again and again. He is very very smart! I thank GOD for this Dr. I can recommend him to anyone and call him the best vet in the world as far as I have been shown AGAIN AND AGAIN. I am taking my dog to him today for a bleeding small growth and I know he will help my dog live a longer healthier life for seeing him right away about it. THANKS FOR BEING US COZYCROFT!! LOVE A VERY GRATEFUL CLIENT! I wrote in capitals now and then to show the seriousness of how incredible this Dr. really is! I was never able to have children so my dogs are my children and I love them with the same love. I take my children (dogs and cats) to this Dr. and would not have it any other way. He is a real blessing to our lives! more

Love this place! 5/3/2012

I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Hearther for about 5 years now. He is a great vet. He is conservative and doesn't jump to the most expensive diagnostics right off the bat. He listens to me when I tell him what is going on with my dogs and doesn't treat me like I don't know what I am talking about. I know my dogs and what they need for the most part and he appreciates that. more

PET OWNERS BEWARE!!!!! I WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO (0) STARS FOR THIS PLACE. I left my dog there for 8 days while I was on vacation. She was supposed to be walked everyday. They took her on ZERO walks and left her in her cage for all 8 days. Her $100 Cesar Milan bed and toys had crap and urine all over them. This place needs to be shut down. So in humane. If you hate your pet, Cozycroft is the place for you. If you love or even mildly like your pet, p[lease go somewhere else. more

Best Vet Anywhere 9/14/2010

I have been going to Dr Hearther since 1982, We have had 5 dogs in this time period and each of them with their own set of health issues. In 84 we moved 20 miles away but will not go to any other Vet. Dr Hearther, never over medicates, never rushes to surgery he definately knows his stuff. Being a Vet is not magic, the creature ""cant tell you where it hurts"" being a good vet. starts with you the pet owner. You must know your animal and be able to communicate for your animal. We have always said that when Dr Hearther retires we will no longer own animals. I have referred many clients to Dr. Hearther and will continue to do so. I have said many times that I have great faith in him and would let him treat me. more

Dr. Haerther is a great vet! 6/8/2009

We have gone to Dr. Haerther for many years even after moving away. We gladly drive an hour to see him. He is straight talking and really cares about our dogs. So the dogs urinate in the bushes before coming in. So what! Get over it. Dr. Haerther is the best! more

I love Cozycroft Pet Hospital 1/21/2009

I highly recommend Dr. Haerther and the staff at Cozycroft Hospital!!! I don't know what the people below are saying, but my experiences have been wonderful with them. They treat my dogs like family, Dr. Haerther takes time with assessing them and their needs, and it does not cost me a fortune!!! Oh, one more thing, I have been and seen their facility, and it is sanitary !!! Hello.... You must have been really obnoxious with them, that is why you did not get the chance to see their very sanitary facility!!! In addition to that, you need to understand that it is a priority for them to keep the place sterile, ESPECIALLY when there are surgeries. You probably did not even think that maybe there is an EMERGENCY, and a surgery was needed by the time you had to go back in the afternoon... DUH!!! Selfish, selfish selfish... Most important thing, my pets, as in MY PETS LOVE to go there!!! That says a lot!!! more

I thought they were great. 8/24/2007

I have to disagree with the other reviews here. In fact after my visit the first thing I said was, ""Those people at Cozycroft are really nice!"" Dr. Haerther seemed to me to be a very good Vet and I trust him. I spoke to a person named Susie during a follow up call and she was very helpful too. They gave my kitten a refill with no need to bring him in saving me $. I dunno, I had a good experience there and I think the other reviews must have been isolated events and not indicative of what goes on there normally. I like Cozycroft! Pros: Quick appointments. They seem to really care. Nice people. Inexpensive. Cons: 20 miles away from me. more

Don't board your pet here! 7/2/2007

For boarding, do not go here. Twice we tried to view the boarding area and were told no because "" a surgery was in progress"" and we weren't allowed to walk through the surgery area. Huh? You have no other way to get to the kennels than through the operating room we asked? They said ""No, but the surgeries are in the morning so come in the afternoon."" So, we came in the afternoon, and guess what? There was a dog in surgery and we couldn't look again. So we offered to come in a back or side door so as not to the disturb the dog. ""No, there is no other way in ...."" they said. That's preposterous, against fire regulations, and makes no sense. They obviously didn't want us to see the kennel area. In addition to the above, the staff was not friendly at all. more

The Worst vet I've ever been to 6/6/2007

If you care about your pet's well-being at ALL, then I urge you to find a diffferent veternarian. Dr. Haerther and his staff couldn't care less about my dog...and they have consistently treated me with utter disregard. The doctor spends about 3 minutes in the room with me and my dog (who has a lot of health issues to manage) and tries to run out the door the whole time, while I'm still asking questions about her medication. He literally will not spend 5 minutes with us, and has one foot out the door the entire time. He is rude and abrasive, just like his staff. They ALWAYS lose my chart, write my phone number down wrong, forget to return my calls, and now they are refusing to fax my dog's records to another office. As a professional pet sitter who has worked with many many vets, I cannot recommend Cozycroft on any level. Pros: Will let you post date a check if you need to. Good parking (cuz the office is empty) Cons: Everything else. They obviously don't care about animals at all more
