I have been going to Dr Hearther since 1982, We have had 5 dogs in this time period and each of them with their own set of health issues. In 84 we moved 20 miles away but will not go to any other Vet. Dr Hearther, never over medicates, never rushes to surgery he definately knows his stuff.
Being a Vet is not magic, the creature ""cant tell you where it hurts"" being a good vet. starts with you the pet owner. You must know your animal and be able to communicate for your animal. We have always said that when Dr Hearther retires we will no longer own animals. I have referred many clients to Dr. Hearther and will continue to do so. I have said many times that I have great faith in him and would let him treat me.
