The place to be if you are in town. One of my friends took me to this restaurant and after that I have been there quite a few times. I always keep going back for pork chop and branzino the thought itself is tempting. They serve delicious food with superb service that goes well with the relaxing atmosphere. more

My friend had told me to be SURE and visit the Corner Kitchen for breakfast. My daughter and I could NOT wait!!! This morning we made our way over there. The food was quite mediocre and expensive. I had a scrambled egg (good), 2 slices of toast (what can you say?), some frozen (?) hashbrown potatoes and probably Smuckers Jam from the jar. I could have sustituted biscuits (2.00) for the toast. On top of all of that after our order was taken we had to wait FORTY minutes. No more breakfast for me there, folks! more

I am one of the pickest eaters in the world. This restaurant is where I am able to find the best food, service and atmosphere. Such a quaint old house, done in good taste. My favorites are the prok chops, filets, fried green tomatoes and the salad with apple vingarette dressing!! To die for!! It's work the trip, and if you need to wait, just sit one comfy front proch and rock. Enjoy the nice breeze. We've been regulars at Corner Kitchen for the last 3 years. Kevin, Josh and "Chef" Joe are down-to-earth, friendly guys! I initially discovered this hidden gem when I first started working in the city (Asheville) and a couple friends suggested it for lunch. I was immediately hooked! First of all, I moved here 5 years ago from the North - and one of the things I really missed was a good grilled Reuben sandwich. I had tried a few around town, but none of them were quite right. Corner Kitchen hit the mark!!! I highly recommend their Reuben. It is piled high with corned beef and very satisfying! I get it every chance I can. I also recommend Joe's chips on the side for a really unique "potatoe" chip you will remember. Their "Italian" Cuban is outstanding as well. Corner Kitchen has one of the best brunch menus in Asheville. The eggs benedict on biscuits (instead of english muffins) made me leap for joy! Get the stone-ground grits even if you hate grits. They melt in your mouth. We love to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy breakfast with friends. It's lovely. more

This is charminginly written on the front of a t-shirt you could buy at this quaint restaurant in a house in historic Biltmore Village. On the back it says "Eat gravy". \r \r The owners and employees of The Corner Kitchen take the "temple" statement very seriously. Every thing is made with quality and simplicity that leaves you ultimately satisfied when get up from the table.\r \r Their soup is better than any other. Gazpacho being their summer soup and a yummy corn and crab chowder for winter. Love this place! Dinner is pretty pricey but worth it. Lunch is a bit more affordable. Atmosphere is very nice, homey. Service is always good. favorite dishes include Fried oyster salad, Fresh Catch is always good as is the Filet. And you MUST save room for the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. So it may be an oxymoron, but this is a really classy southern diner. If the gals from Steel Magnolias and Fried Green Tomoatoes got together and started a restaurant, this would be it. Eat something fried! \r \r Great desserts too! more
