Worst

Corky's is okay. The food is mediocre, the atmosphere horrid. I'll give you two pieces of advice:\r 1. When outside the US, don't eat where you can hear American voices\r 2. Whe...

Corky's- Memphis Bar-B-Q! 9/30/2006

Located in Memphis, Tennessee, Corky's is a fantastic BBQ restaurant. You will know by the long waits and steady stream of take out customers that Corky's is worth the wait. The ribs with the tender meat falling off the bones are delicious. You can get the ribs with your typical BBQ sauce or with the dry rub- each are good, depends on your personal preference. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere. And a tip, for those not lucky enough to have a Corky's near them, you can get them on QVC! more

Nice place 4/16/2006

This is a nice restaurant and they have good prices on their food. Their barbeque is nationally known and they also have good catering prices. It is a Memphis tradition to eat at Corky's when you come to town. Great restaurant. If you have a relative or friend visiting from out of town you have to take them here. more

Best ribs in town! 4/15/2006

Corky's has the best ribs. The best part is they even have a drive through service or you can order them online. They are delicious. I also love the cheese and sausage plate. They have barbecue sandwiches for those who don't want to get too messy eating the ribs. Get there early because they are packed during lunch and dinner. more

I would wait a long line, 3/18/2006

I love this place !! I really like their ribs with dried seasoning. They cook their meat very slow and for a long time, so you will have a very tender fabulous pork rib, You will not be disappointed. Very highly recommended even if you for get to make a reservation and have to wait for couple of hours. more

Corkys in the air 11/5/2005

Even if you are not hungry the smell of corky's bbq will make you drool. I can smell corkys from a mile away. Corkys has the best ribs I have ever had. I prefer the dry ribs with the must have onion loaf. The rolls are also out of this world! All of the above with a sweet iced tea is all you need for the best meal! more

Want the best barbecue 8/19/2005

Ask anyone in Memphis where to eat barbecue and Corky's will often top most people's lists. This location in East Memphis is the original. Driving down Poplar you can smell the fire pit and follow the smoke toward this immensely popular place . There is even a drive though for fast to go service. Corky's offers both wet and dry ribs. I prefer the wet ones. Their rolls are fabulous for mopping up extra barbecue sauce. Be sure to ask for extra ones (and napkins!). 50's era music can be heard in the background and Corky's merchandise is also available for purchase in the front of the restaurant. If you only to get try one barbecue place in Memphis, pick Corky's! more
