First time ever writing a review 10/12/2011

I went to look for CopyFax because I used them before and frankly was shocked to read the poor review below which looks to be written by the same person. This inspired me to create a user name and log my experience with CopyFax. I came to their office after googling their service from the internet. I was greeted by an employee who generally was interested in my visit and my needs. I was then greeted by the owner Jim who had me come behind the counter and use his computer so I can visualize to him what I wanted printed ( and as a rush ) This to me screams the very essence of great customer service. I have recommended them to friends and have heard nothing but the same experience. more

I have several copiers and printers and have had to replace many over the years. I have had good experiences and bad with various companies. Most are only about the sale of the equipment. Once the salesmen are gone, so is the communication. I purchased my first copier from Copyfax several years ago and they still service it today. Their service staff is always here when I need them. I have replaced several copiers and printers using their refurbished department. These machines are like new and I didn't have to pay alot of money. I always had the option to purchase a Maintenance Agreement or not. They always included a one year Maintenance Agreement at no cost. One color copier they service free if I buy my toner from them. This company is the best in good times and they bend over backwards in this tough time to keep me going. I saw this website and decided to let you know about this fine company and it's staff. more

Great Service, Excellent Staff! 12/22/2009

We have been using COPYFAX Orlando for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the pricing and fast service. The service department has always gone out of their way to get parts needed to repair our equipment and have even discounted the labor rates to keep our equipment running in these difficult times. I would recomend COPYFAX Orlando to anyone needing honest, reliable copier service. We have purchased 2 copiers from the sales department over the last 10 years and they have always had the best prices in Orlando. Pros: Fast service, very knowlegable staff. Best pricing. Cons: None. more

HORRIBLE Customer service 10/29/2009

PLEASE BEWARE! FIND ANOTHER COPY REPAIR PLACE OR YOU MAY BE RIPPED OFF!\r I called Copyfax for service on 2 Dell All in one Printers. I asked before they sent a technician if the initial service call did not fix the problem, would we be charged for labor again. The owner, Jim, stated that they would not charge us for labor if the problem was not fixed. The Copyfax tech came out and cleaned the machines, which, initially, was though to be the cause of the problem. I asked the tech if we would be charged for labor again if the problem was not fixed. She re-iterated what Jim had said, no second labor charge if the problem was not fixed. The problem was not fixed and I called back the next day, when I was told by Jim that we needed parts and I asked him again would we be charged for labor a second time and he stated again that they would not. They sent me an invoice with labor charged, which I returned recalculated with no labor charge. When I spoke to Jim again the following week, he denies telling me that there would be no additional labor. I asked how to find the parts to order myself and I would install. He very snidely told me I could figure it out for myself. I thanked him for his ""help"" although he was not honoring his agreement and was extremely disrespectful to me. I undestand Copyfax is not in the business to work for free, but when the owner makes an agreement with a customer, that agreement should be honored. I would give zero stars if I could! Doing business in Orlando for over 18 years 11/17/2008

I see where Rebecca Reed with R.L. REED & Associates wrote a review about my company, COPYFAX Orlando, Inc. Rebecca Reed purchased with her AMERICAN EXPRESS a refurbished KONICA MINOLTA c350 from us on 9-9-08. The copier came with a 1 year Maintenance Contract covering everything but paper, toner included. On the followup call, on 9-12-08 she had run a very large amount of color copies and everything was working fine. About the time her AMERICAN EXPRESS PAYMENT was due, she contested the charges and told us to cancel the Maintenance Agreement, (with never a complaint about the copier). Believe me, AMERICAN EXPRESS did not take my word for the transaction, they took over 45 days to investigate. They ruled in our favor. Rebecca Reed did not have the money to pay her bill, so she contested the charges. We have been selling and servicing copiers in Orlando for over 18 years and we are very proud of our relationship with our customers. I have all documentation on file for anyone to see, as well as satisfied customer reviews for 18 yrs. We completely refurbish every copier and include a Maintenance Agreement covering everything but paper. We respond to every service request within 4 hours. ""ALL WE HAVE TO SELL IS SERVICE"" J. E. non-existant customer service 10/18/2008

Copyfax sold me a ""refurbished"" mulit-function copier that, after review by a reliable company, it was determined that only two components were new with the rest of the major consumable near expiration. The machine was never set up properly and would not print many files, would not fax or scan. I was told it was the fault of my computer. After spending over $400 on computer upgrades the machine would still not perform as promise and repeated calls for service were ignored. I was told they would get to me when it was convient for them. They tell you what you want to hear until you sign on the dotted line then good luck getting the machine to work as promised. \r \r I would give them zero stars if possible. I'm out $4,560 for a worthless machine. They lied to American Express telling them I was happy with the performance of the machine. I do recommend Kittinger Business Machines. They are most helpful and truely stand behind word. Pros: can't think of one Cons: lack of providing service and equipment as promised. more
