All my files disappeared from My External Drive. I had pictures and my thesis files stored from almost 4 years. I was going nuts. None of the "so called" computer company answered my phone. Mostly small and pop with answering machine. Go figure. Called Geek Squad and they say atleast 4 to 5 days. I found Control Alt Delete online and spoke with Tom. He told me no charge for him to check whether he can do it or not, while I waited in their nice place. Tom told me he can restore everything. It was expensive but he did it all. It was ready the next day. Thank you Tom. I highly recommend Control Alt Delete. For me money wasn't the issue - it was the technical knowledge, honesty and the service. Tom had it all. If you have any computer or PlayStation issue go and see control alt delete on Sumner avenue. They fixed our laptop issues on same day. Very reasonable price. We did not like other guys comes to our home and spend hours and can not resolve problems and we still have to pay. We don't like to invite strangers in our house. I am very pleased with their service. It was a small job. I bought some laptop hinges from eBay and wanted them to install. They did it right there while I was waiting. I paid $35 bucks. I called other computer repair place in the area including those geek squad and their service charge ranges from $75 dollars to $150. I am very pleased and happy to know Control Alt Delete is there. Our Exchange server went down and we called Control Alt Delete. Our 11 workstations and the exchange server network was down. Actually the server was powering up but not showing anything on the monitor. No one was connecting to the server. Tom came in within 2 hours, sameday by the way and found the problem. He did not have parts so he personally went to get parts and fixed our server. The server was basically up same day. Thanks Tom. He is very professional and friendly. 2 years after buying my system from Control Alt Delete on Sumner Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts, it is still as great as the first day it arrived at my house. Being a former Dell customer, I knew what I was looking for (media editing, graphics) and did a quote for a system that has a 3.0 Core 2 Duo processor, dual 500GB hard drives with Acronis TrueImage, 4GB RAM, Vista 32-bit Ultimate (since upgraded to Win 7 64-bit Pro), Antec P182 case, DVD-RW, among other things. The same day, Tom emailed me back with some options that helped me save money and was able to eliminate components I didn't need. I also really appreciate that he was honest and didn't upsell me on things I never needed. Go online to their website, they have a price marked for about $180 for a cleanup special. Well I myself, and a few others that I have managed to round up, were charged over $250 for what the special offers.I know of another who paid over $300 for the same exact service. It seems as if they just charge what they feel like depending on who walks in the door for the same exact service, so watch for this. Also price out a part of any sort being memory, or a power supply, or even alaptop for instance. Then go to this store and price out the same things. Markup of 150%-300%. Look at what they sell for $300-$500 for laptops and compare them to brand new ones out of the box!!! You will be sadly disappointed. I completely forgot to mention to go here if you like bootleg version of AVG Antivirus and be charged 79.99 for it. Want windows XP installed? No problem go to more
