HORRIBLE! We constantly have to have them come out to fix their equipment. We pay a yearly maintenance fee for them to keep their equipment up to date and working properly yet it seems to break monthly if not more often. \r \r Their service is spotty. The Picture freezes even though you can hear the sound for minuets at a time. The sound cuts out and the picture keeps going for minuets at a time. The routers fail all the time. The internet is horrible even though we pay extra to make it better. \r \r We had them come out only a week and a half ago only to have the service go out again last night. They couldn't reach the route supervisor to come out the same day so they will not be out until Thursday (2 days later) because they only have someone on site 3 days out of 7. They also could not reach the IT department to have them check their system, it seems every time the come out the guy calls their IT department and they flip some switch to make it work properly. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they also were not available. It was only 330 in the afternoon and the entire building seemed to be missing! I asked that someone call me back which of course they did not. \r \r In San Bruno you can have San Bruno cable or Satellite. It looks like we will be going to San Bruno cable. more

I emphasize with the first reviewer. The COA where I reside in San Bruno, CA went with Direct TV through Consolidated Smart Systems (CSS) in 2010, two years ago. Our account is so big they have a dedicated technician on the account. Fortunately, I do not subscribe to Direct TV. However, I use CSS as my DSL provider. They are terrible. One star is too generous a rating for this group of thieves. For the first six months my DSL was down on a weekly basis. I was given the name of a manager, SHIRLY WIDDERSHOVEN. Suffice it to say she authorized three months of free service during those initial few months. Worse than the DSL Service is their customer service. Put bluntly there is no customer service. Just watch, They will be named as a defendant in a lawsuit for fraud and will pay. more

Dreadful 2/5/2011

My HOA switched to DirecTV, who in turn hired this bunch of clowns to make things as difficult as possible for me. On the day of installation, I was given a window of 'all day', so I had to take a day off work and stay in. The tech came at the end of the day and hurried through the work, complaining the whole time that he was being kept late.\r \r He had to remove and refit 2 cable outlets. The first, he replaced not with the original screws, but with 2 unmatched new screws, which looked very odd. The second, he left loose, hanging by 1 screw. When I pointed these problems out to him, he said he had to go, but he would create a work order for it. Months later, I got a call from them saying they would come and fix the problems.\r \r The second tech replaced the screws on the first outlet and fixed the second one more firmly to the wall. When he had left, I saw that the second outlet was now fitted at an angle -- not just slightly askew, but wildly out of true. Of course, it looks ridiculous.\r \r I called their 1-800 number (good luck trying to navigate that menu) which referred me to another number (even more luck trying to navigate that), and finally managed to speak to somebody. He said he would call the tech and ask him to return. Needless to say, that is the last I heard of it.\r \r Avoid them if you can.\r more
