I believe there are laws to protect renters I'm definitely \r Going to start my research on this ASAP to check out my \r Grand children's rights for proper home maintenance , working plumbing, safe\r Electricity regulations, lawful rental protection for longstanding problems. From what I understand, there has been many b4 us that have experienced the same problems in this rental home. I'm not trying to insult your integrity , I'm just questioning it . We found these Realtors to be EXCELLENT in customer service, work around problems and help wherever they can. They were VERY HELPFUL in getting us the housing situation that we needed with our budget and WORKED OUT the details based on our needs. more

I must say that my husband and I were reluctant at first to go to this company because of the reviews we read but I must say that our experience so far with Conrad has been wonderful. We were running a few minutes late to pick up the key to look at the house and the lady's were so nice to give us the key anyway and not only that but told us that they would wait for us to get back even if it was after closing time. When we got back to their office they were still very friendly and worked on our application. So far our experience with Conrad Realty has been nothing short of wonderful and we are looking forward to a wonderful relationship with this company. more

The people that work for Conrad are some of the rudest people I have EVER met. We lived in a home that we rented from them and everything that could go wrong with a place went wrong. Did they bother to fix any of it? NO! And when they did decide to come out they cheaply ""fixed"" the problems. The house we lived in had faulty wiring, lead paint, invested with camel crickets, paint just slapped on the wall, filthy carpet and the list goes on. NEVER EVER rent from these people!! They are true meaning of slumlords. more

we rented a house from conrads When you rent a place or house if it is there it is suppose to be in working conditions according to law they are suppose to paint the house before anyone moves in they gave us a list of things to put down on paper what needed to be done well we did one thing on the list was done and that is all we waited 2 or 3 weeks for one room to be painted and they were told that we were going to move in anyways because our time was running out where we were at they said the heat had to be on well the electricity was on shortly after we rented the house they never came by to paint that one room several weeks to month or so after we moved in also the basement was leaking they would not fix that the garage door would not open good it was hard someone contacted several companies about getting it fixed and they would not do it they claim they called the owners and said they were not going to do anything about it a person has a bad back and that person fell 2 times trying to get it open or closed finally a guy told him what to do to make it easier the dish washer would not work they were not going to get it fixed which i did not care anyways about that it would have ran the water bill way up also the facuets leaking they would send someone out and claim they were going to come back and fix them we did not see them that time nor the other time they left a note saying they would be back to fix it well here we are moving back home and we have not seen anyone yet on fixing the facuets then all the city of archdale wanted to knock off is 3 dollars even though i do not have much money they must have needed it worser than what we needed it so i payed it too it ran from thrusday until after one pm on saturday evening before they came to fix it also the furance we had trouble with it at first we did not know what the problem was then when it was fixed we got low on oil and the pump was weak and old and now they said that we are going to have to pay for it because one called the people that they deal with and the company guy told one that he was going to have to call this company before they can come out to fix it so i called conrads and now they are wanting to charge me with the bill this is not right we have holes in the walls facing on the outside of the door loose the bottome of the doors open big enough for critters to crawl through the list goes on the gutters needed cleaning they would not get any one to do it they do not want you to fix it up but yet they claim that they have to contact the owners to get premission to do things but they are the ones that are suppose to look after the properties more

I have never, as a customer been so disappointed in the way I have been treated as I have with CONRAD REALTY, and the funny part about it is that I am just talking about the actual application process. I didn't get as far as having the pleasure of renting from them. The entire staff is RUDE, as if you owe them something for even applying with them. They charge you $25 bucks for you to answer the questions as THEY fill out your application. Then they put a side note that your app is good for 30days. In which they string you along for weeks without contacting you, instead thy tell you to call them back everyday, then when you call they have a list of excuses why they have not finished approving/denying your app, ensuring you that they will call you back and NEVER do. They totally lied to me on the phone telling me they have left several voicemessages in reference to the app, however I know they have not. Then they insulted my intelligence several times asking me some off the wall questions about an car accident police report, in which had not one thing to do with my application. I know I qualified, and everything matched up, but they told me I was the hold up. Whatever you do, please stay away from these people. They are crooks and need to be put out of business!!!!!! I called this company to inquire about properties they had in the High Point area and the receptionist was very rude, she acted like it was a problem that i even called to inquire about there properties, she kept going around all the questions I ask and basically said come see for yourself. I'm coming from 350mile away so of course I'm gonna ask question. COME ON !!!!! that was a BIG turn off especially if u are the people I'm gonna hand my money to every month. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO Any One they are FLAT OUT RUDE!!!! more

do not rent from this company!!! Yes they are rude and talk to people as if they are dummies. And they charge bogus charges for things they shouldnt. EX. I moved in and the cabinets were a mess. But, at the time I took it to cut down on expenses. When I moved they tried to charge me $600 for them. And the house was unbelievably COLD! The heater always was out and we froze. You couldnt use the rest of the house trying to stay warn in one room. Yes one room. Then they say I owe them $680 to paint. Isnt that something they are supposed to do? There was just normal ware and tear. They took a heater out of the house and did not do a good job covering the hole up. They charged me for that. If you are in need of a house and have to go this route, please take pictures before and afterwards, keep notes on the phone calls and complete the inspection sheet before moving stuff in. Keep copies for yourself. Pros: Cheap rentals=cheap service Cons: cold houses, take long time to fix things, rude staff, will lie more

Renting from this company was the worse mistake I have ever made. They have very rude, unconsiderate employees. For example, One day I went to pay my rent and I some questions to ask. I ask the lady that sits at the very front desk and takes the payment. She gave me an answer that didnt make any since to me, so i asked her to explain it to me. She got hateful and said I not going to argue with you it is what it is. You can leave. its wasnt like i was arguing with her. I just asked her to explain her answer she gave me. To make a long story short. They are very short with you. They treat you like you are below them, and what ever they say goes even if the are in the wrong. So if you are thinking about renting from Conrads. Please reconsider. Cons: poor customer service more
