I recently had a sump pump and ""french drain"" system installed by Connecticut Basement Systems. Since we live on the harbor across from Long Island Sound, we knew it was a risk not to have modern basement protection. We had 2 separate incidences of water in our basement over a 3 month period. One where the sump pump failed and the other the power was out for 3 days. I had my studio in the basement. Fortunately the first time we were home and I could rescue important items. The second time we were getting married. The service man arrived within 2 hours when the first pump failed and had the water gone in about an hour. I decided to have a triple safe pump put in with Sanidry. It should have been done to begin with. I now have a dry basement that smells dry. The process was clean and the staff were efficient, professional and tidy. They put a plastic runner down even though my home was quite in disaray from all the tracking from the basement. Thank you basement systems! more

This experience was the best thing to happen to this house in 50 years, because that's how long we tolerated a wet and/or flooded basement, until we finally had your company come in to 'fix' it. From the knowledgeable salesman who showed up right on schedule and provided the cost estimate on-the-spot, to the guys who came in to do the work, in an amazing 6 hour time-frame, I have nothing but good things to say. I would recommend to anyone, anywhere that the Triple-Safe system from CT Basement Systems is the one to go with. Yesterday we had a power outage, and the backup battery kicked right in and took over, so that no flooding would occur as it poured outdoors. Now if there was a way to land a job with you in an office/customer service position, I'd be even happier, because I'd be representing a company that I could not only speak highly of, I now own your product and could speak with 1st hand knowledge. Basement Systems installed a full perimeter drain in the basement of my 1886 home and we finally have a basement that we can use for storage. The installation was perfomed in a very professional matter and the work was first-rate. The people at the company were all a pleasure to deal with and extremely friendly and professional. In addition, since I had a stone basement that allowed water to flow through quite freely, it was a difficult job. I have had the company return on three occasions for some issues and they were extremely prompt and courteous about returning and making sure that I was happy. I feel that if I have any further problems, they will be at my door immediately to fix them. This is an excellent company to work with and their work is highly recommended. Pros: Very courteous and professional team. Excellent workmanship. Cons: Had to return due to some issues, but the company was extremely responsive. more

My basement used to leak. I had to keep the carpet folded back. Had to run a dehumidifier right in the corner where it leaked. It was totally depressing. more
