TERRIBLE customer service 10/8/2008

Apparently this company exists under different names\r \r I was told it would take 3 days for an estimate, 6 days later I called them, they had no anser for me.I called two days after that they said it was being currently being worked on. Hadn't heard so 5 hours later I called they said it was still in pieces because it wasn't a software problem. Three days later I went in just to get my laptop back it was sitting on a shelf no one called me, nothing...oh and it was a software problem. these people lie, have terrible customer service, and act like you are inconveniencing them. Pros: I know never to use them again Cons: everything more

Unprofessional 4/23/2008

I tried this company instead of an independent technician for my last computer malfunction to see whether they would have a better service. First, they charge almost twice as much as an independent technician. They charge $70 an hour whereas an independent technician would charge you only $40/hr. The send help fast but the guy they sent to me did not finish the job and had to come back after I complained. The guy had some attitude. Worse, he had to borrow tools from me as he did not bring any. At least an independent tech would care more about the quality of his work. Now I have to hire another tech to finish everything. In a nutshell, Geeks Mobile can save the day. The same day. You call and they send help fast. I did not want to wait for a laptop repair job to be done in ?first come? order at some shop, and I did not have to. It was done in my kitchen all in one day. more
