Unfortunately, I had to have another operation, but fortunately I came to Community Rehabilitation Hospital. I wish I could stay longer because the care is exceptional and the staff are so kind and friendly. I have learned so much in therapy and I have come so far on my recovery road! The hospital is clean and comfortable, the food is good, the nursing and therapy staff are exceptional in their care! Don’t go anywhere else for physical rehab! more

The people here go above and beyond, especially Tammy, Christina, Yvette, Jakarta, and Teka! My therapy staff was fantastic! Thank you Christina and Crystal and other therapist that helped me get well again! I am deeply grateful! more

I have only good things to say about each department and each person I came into contact with. From dietary, nursing, housekeeping, physicians, etc. The people make this a top notch facility. more

They never gave up on me! Life Skills Group, taught me a lot. Sussan, Casey and Mary all taught me a lot! Sussan helped me realize that I was stronger than I thought I was...she taught me how to walk again. Casey taught me how to look at myself in the mirror to not criticize myself and to not give up on myself. Mary has an attitude that helped me express my feelings and to take time. She told me to slow down, think before I act. To take time for the small things to slow down. She gave me the opportunity to be myself. She told me, they all told me I could do it. I felt comfortable in her space. They room they did groups in made me feel comfortable and safe. Therapies were fun and interactive. I have a new found confidence. I didn’t feel judged, I felt supported. They work as a team! I was there during rehab week. Many of the staff dressed up and made it fun. They helped motivate me. Sue in OT was great as well. She helped me set up my medications so that I can manage it. I have a new found confidence. Warren in the cafeteria was great! He taught me a lot about how to ask for what you need, but educated me on making good and healthy choices. Sharonda was the first person I met and she helped me start on a good note. She treated me with respect and explained everything to me and she did it with kindness. The housekeepers are kind and kept my room super clean! They encouraged me as well! This hospital in general gave me back my life and literally put my kick back in my step. I am a better person physically mentally and spiritually because of this place! Thank you for being the light in a dark time of my life. I am hopeful again and grateful.This has been a lesson in life to never give up and I learned that here! I appreciate each person that helped me along the way! more

The people that work here say it’s the best facility and I agree! The place is well put together! They do a great job with the patients here....everybody here needs help! Dr. Gangadhar laughs with you, he’s just great! The food is a little to spicy for me, but the breakfast is great! They should let you add the spice individually. Warren calls you by name and treats you with kindness, why everyone here treats you with kindness! Warren likes to have fun with us patients. They have a great team! I feel stronger and I am on the road to recovery. When I walk in the gym, I know I am in good hands! My team of caregivers have been very good to me! I used to be a policeman, and I wonder about the security of this building. I felt safe, and was glad to see that they have someone at the front door when the building is unlocked. more

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Unfortunately, I had a medical set back and had to come back for more therapy. Professional, proficient, caring, result oriented, all done with kindness! Therapies are top notch! Everyone was kind, caring and professional Food was excellent and the housekeeping staff was thorough and friendly. Only thing that could use improvement was using their own staff. It seems like I had a lot of temporary or agency nursing staff when I was there the second time. Thank you for helping me get better! more

The food is excellent, they just give you too much! I definitely have loved my time in rehab! They didn’t have to push me, they made me want to do the exercises! They took me to a doctors appointment as well! Accommodated my dialysis needs. They have Bingo once a week and made sure they asked me if I wanted to participate. I like going to the cafeteria to eat! I was able to sit by the big window and look out, talk to other patients. This made it feel less lonely to be in the hospital. I have a great view out my window - trees! I got to do some of my therapy outdoors too! Excellent nursing care and they interact at shift change! Big restrooms to move around in, clean facility. I would definitely recommend Community Rehab! more

The therapy I had here was super! Keri and Emily did a fantastic job helping me! Emily was a student but she was great! Only thing I don’t care for is the seatbelt that I have to wear! They should give you some leeway if you’ve proven you don’t get up without help. They gave me exercises to do when I go home and during my free time while at th hospital. I feel like I am set up well to succeed when I go home. I like to keep busy, and I feel like I have been well educated on how to do slow down and why it’s important. They even worked with me to get me off of the oxygen! RT helped me to get my breathing back on track again! The therapy and the RT worked together to get me off of oxygen. All of the nurses are great! Most of the time they came quickly when I put my call light on! more

Unfortunately I have been to a lot of hospitals and this place is the best! I like to joke and have fun and everyone plays right along. They make the hard work fun! Therapy got me strong again! Everyone is so patient! I put my light on and they come help me! The food is good, the place is clean and everyone in the building smiles and greets you with kindness! The people here really want to see you get well again and they do their best to help you get there - what more can you ask for? more

All of the therapist are good people. They care and they take the time to talk to you and help you out, Sarah, Cassie and Claire are exceptional. They take the time to talk to you if you have a problem and they explain fully what they are doing and why. The nurses are good too, they always check the name tags. The case manager talked to me, but seemed to talk to my daughter more. Maybe it would be good to talk to both of us at the same time. The food is excellent! It’s a lot better than other places I have been. The housekeeper comes by at least once a day and cleans the entire room. If you had to go to the hospital, this is a good place to go. more

It’s been very helpful. It’s been hard work, especially PT, but it will pay off in the end. Sandy, my nurse, has been very helpful, VERY helpful! She has gone out of her way to make things go smoothly. All of the aids, are always available. They do it without complaining. They help you with understanding. They do all they can to make your stay here good! Anything I want or need, all I have to do is call a nurse or aid and they make sure it happens. Everybody has been so nice, especially when you aren’t able to do for yourself. All you have to do is ask, and sometimes, you don’t even have to ask, they know what you need. I am prepared to go home. They have shown me how to move around, where to place my feet to get in and out of bed. It’s (PT)very helpful. I’ve never been in this situation before and they are very good at educating. They tell you what to expect and how to plan for when you go home. They are very helpful, tough, but helpful! That’s the only way to get it done so that I can get stronger. Even though I miss my home, it’s satisfying to get good care and learn how to handle my situation. more

This hospital is clean. The people are very friendly and nice. You get real good care! Andy, my nurse is very friendly ad ice. She makes me laugh and that makes difference. Therapy is real, real good. Lindsey is very sweet and helped me get a better diet. I went from ground to chopped because she helped me. Emily helped me take care of myself too! The staff here make me smile all the time and they are good people to know. I am comfortable with them. I like it here. The food was real good, they make it tasty. I would tell people to come here if they need help. more

I really didn’t want to come here! The first time I got sick, I refused and went straight home after I stay in the hospital. I just got sicker and ended up back in the hospital. This time my wife made me come to Community Rehab, and I’m glad she did. I don’t know why anyone would refuse to come here! These people here are amazing! I have never received such good care in my life! There are some truly kind, caring and sweet people here that have our best interest in mind! The therapist presented things in such a way that you really wanted to do it! They helped me understand why I needed to do the tasks they asked! I really felt a part of my therapy. They were amazing at motivating me, and that’s no easy task! My goal was to get stronger sot that I could help my wife by being able to take care of myself! Thanks to Noreen and Joni for kicking me in the butt (not literallly)! I have been successful because of this amazing team of caring people at Community Rehab! Good thing too because the day I got discharged from rehab, my wife was admitted to the hospital. Thank you to the kind lady that took me across the street to see my wife of 45 years! Since my wife was in the hospital, they even arranged for my transportation home. I can’t thank you people enough! more

Everyone has been very nice and my care has been excellent! The people here were kind and good to me, very attentive. Therapy has been good. I feel stronger and they got me to walk again. I feel like I can walk across the room by myself now. Food is good, and the hospital is clean. The care I received was excellent. more

I made up my mind when I came here, I was going to give it my all. Everything they asked me to do I did with all I had. My therapy...they were very considerate. Devon and Noreen were very helpful to me. Noreen tries to be real hard, but she’s a softy really! Everyone I had in the activities I had to do were very good. I did whatever they told me to do, because I want to be get back on my feet. I want to be able to go back to my house. I feel very prepared to go home and be successful. I have had great nursing care. All of the nurses have been very good...Sandy, Melonie, and several others I can’t remember, but I have good memory of what they did for me!! The tech’s were all good too. Yvette was very excellent to me and was so kind. I have nothing but good stuff to say. I am glad this facility is here to help! more

I give this place a 5 because since I had my surgery, I am where I am today because of this place. Kindness has helped me progress. I only had 1 incident where someone was short with me and she later apologized. Everyone is so kind and helpful. The way I was treated helped me to heal! I appreciate everything that was done to help. Housekeeping left some extra things for me because they knew I needed it, same goes for the dining room people. My therapy was beautiful! I enjoyed it and found it very helpful! The people were great! My speech therapist allowed me to talk and taught me so much! The same for my PT and OT! Excellent care! I highly recommend this place! more
