Proactive Repair Service 10/13/2012

I recently received a call from Jennifer Miller, Service Manager, that my 2005 Honda Pilot was being recalled for defective wiring in the low beam headlights that could overheat and fail. \r \r I brought the car in at 10am and was helped by Jennifer. It was repaired the same day around 1pm as promised. There was no charge because the fix was under warranty. They even washed it for free too! \r \r I compliment Jennifer for being proactive in letting me know about the problem even before I was notified by mail - which arrived a few weeks later. Not only did I receive great service, but by Jennifer calling me ahead of time, she reduced the potential hazard by a few weeks. She's awesome! more

All service is done right the first time and they are very efficient! Steve Surma, one of the service people is always helpful and provides a complete explanation of what needs to be done. \r I recommend Steve to family and friends who own Hondas and need service on their cars. Steve is always looking out for my best interest when I come to him for service on my Honda. He is friendly, honest, and trustworthy.Steve makes sure that all necessary work is done on my car and recommends service which will help to keep mt Honda running perfectly! Purchased a Honda CRV from them on Memorial Day. They were packed! My salesman, Bob Schmuhl was the best! He was very attentive, explained the navigation on the car, the xm radio, was very knowledgeable about all the awesome features on the car. A very good place to buy a new car from! Not pushy at all and Bob was very accommodating on all the cars I had wanted to test drive. He completely understood that it is a huge purchase and you need to be satisfied. Would recommend Community Honda and Bob Schmuhl 100%. more

I am extremely happy with the service department here...they are thorough and impeccably honest as to what does and what does not need repair and servicing. The representative of the service department that helped me today was Randy Pribyl and he was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Great Experience 11/24/2011

I brought my brother to Community to buy a car and we were waited on by Frank Cleveland . He was professional ,a good listener and gave us exactly what we wanted and needed within the budget my brother could afford. It worked out so well that I then brought my Mom to Frank and had the same great experience. I highly recommend Community Honda and especially Frank Cleveland if you want a smooth car buying experience. I am 100% satisfied! more

Consistently good service 7/16/2011

Although I didn't buy my car from here, I do get it serviced here regularly and I've never had any problems. I've had a couple warranty items done here without issue as well. I have not dealt with any major repairs, so I can't comment on that. more

Maintenance Service 6/15/2011

I have been a customer at Community Honda for over 10 years, however, I am extremely displeased with the cost of my recent service. I was not having any mechanical problems but took my car in for a routine maintenance check and was charged over $900. Nearly 70% of the cost was for labor and only minor problems (ie. brake light & radiator hose) were addressed. My mistake was failing to ask them what the cost would be before they got started. I cannot afford to visit this establishment any more in the future. more

Excellent service 12/22/2010

Community Honda of Orland Park have been servicing my car since I got it in 2006 from the same dealership. The most recent service on my honda civic hybrid, was battery needed to be replaced at 81,000 mileage. My car was still under warranty, no hassle with the authorization process and great service. Everything went smoothly, the courtesy ride to and from work and friendly atmosphere was a plus. Very happy and satisfied, I will not let any other auto shop service my car. more

I have now bought 3 Hondas from Community Honda and I am very happy with the dealership. Everyone I have ever talked to at the dealership is wonderful. Since I am on my 3rd car I have used their service department a lot. I have never had any problems. Appointments are not necessary but recommended. If you make an appointment you are in and out of there so very fast. They never try to sell you any additional services than what you went there for. I will never take my car for service anywhere but Community Honda no matter what kind of work needs to be done on my car. more

I've just had the most pleasant experience for a leasing a new vehicle from Community Honda of Orland Park. I was on a time sensitive schedule as my current lease from another car manufacturer was expiring on Saturday. I contacted Community on a Wednesday morning and spoke with Eddie Bilo. I gave him my requirements and he got back to me within an hour with confirmation that he had a vehicle that met my needs and pricing parameters. I met with Eddie and Wayne Neven that evening to view the vehilce and go over the pricing. Both Eddie and Wayne were courteous and very professional and were able to answer all of my questions. On Thursday I test drove the Honda Pilot that I have now leased. Wayne took the time to explain all of the features on the Pilot and how to use them. I was able to pick my Pilot up on Friday afternoon and Wayne again went through the Pilots features in more depth to make sure that I knew how to opeate them. I will certainly be looking to Community Honda of Orland Par more

Slow Service 8/18/2010

I made an appointment for 8 am and when I got to the Service area I was made to wait 15 minutes to talk to a service writer. Upon talking to the service writer I was told that it would take up to an hour befor my oil to be changed. Needless to say I took my car and business somewhere else. more

Old Customer 3/21/2010

Got maintinence work done, found very expensive and got wired noises after the work was done. No one claimed any responsibility instead reassured that its normal. Made me sound stupid for talking about noises. !!\r \r Prefer to go to any garage to save some money atleast.They need better tech than they have now. more
