Then you say your lawn looked poor???....I doubt that, but in any case, we offer FREE service calls. You also said American Lawn Care aerated your lawn without permission??? Then why do we still have your ""signed contract"" by you to do so??? Next time you forget to cancel a signed contract, I suggest you contact the service provider beforehand. This way American Lawn Care will not waste their time + salary expense, fuel, and $42,000 of equipment, etc .\r \r The above ""three"" need to state facts on this California-based site (no more lies please). Wow! Is all I can say. American Lawn Care applied a .77 surcharge to our bill. When I paid my bill, I paid the monthly amount (did not include the .77). Apparently, this .77 is more important to them then the hundreds of dollars I would pay in the future. I received a follow up note stating that the .77 is payable and they do NOT credit service charges. In addition, my husband received a follow up call at 8:30 in the evening reminding him that the .77 was due and payable. I was going to pay the .77, but the follow ups became ridiculous and became a running joke in our house. To say my business was not valued is an understatement. Apparently, they have enough business that they do not need mine. Their wish has been granted. If this is how they handle small matters, I absolutely do not trust them to spray chemicals. There are too many lawn care services to inconvenience the companies that do not want my business. Oh - and I am paying their .77. more

This company should not be in business. We had them for awhile but cancelled when they killed half of my garden and would not reimburse us. They killed the neighbor's yard, they have no regards for dogs in the yard and they are liars. They attempt to get more money out of you than what you owe. If I were you, I would look elsewhere for a lawn service. more

We have used this lawn service for the 2010 year. We prepaid early in the spring for the entire year. Our lawn looked poor in comparison to the neighbors all year long. Today American Lawn aerated our lawn after we instructed them not to (Aeration was already done by myself thanks to a neighborhood partnership weeks ago). When my wife called to ask why they did this after they were told not to, the rude woman, who called herself the owner, told my wife that she was a loser who doesn't pay her bills and a few other choice words. This company is very unprofessional with poor results, look elsewhere. more

We have never had any problems with American. We choose them for lawn fertilization, they come out at scheduled intervals and leave your bill on the door. One word though-pay your bill on time or someone will come and knock on your door on Saturday morning to collect! So you'd better not put it off more than 29 days! more
