Do not ever buy anything there. They want to sell, and then they ignore you when you call with a concern. I called with a question, was promised a call back the next business day. Mo one called. I went to the store, was told the man who promised to call me was out that day, and that he would call the following day. Than was two months ago. I am still waiting for the phone call. Also, the promise of a rebate is a scam. It is not possible to go through the web site that is given on the form to get to the rebate claim. The website goes straight to Thornberry's web site. Community Appliance is is a dishonest company. more

I just recently purchased a washing maching from Commuity Appliance. I was greeted by a fast talking salesman who was helpful until I agreed to purchase the washing machine from him. As soon as we sat down at his desk he acted annoyed by any questions I had and was really quite rude from that point on. He failed to tell me that the machine needed several hoses and hook ups that were not included in the price. When the installer came to my house he couldn't hook up my machine because the salesman failed to order the parts! When I called the salesman he again acted annoyed and then proceeded to add on another $50 worth of merchandise that I needed. The installer had to come back out several days later for installation. After the installation my machine was malfunctioning and again I had to call the salesmen. Instead of the saleman getting on the phone he had the secretary call me back, whom by the way was also extremely rude. I will never purchase anything from this store again. Next time I will go to Sears! more

I dealt with a guy named J.R., who was helpful, but a bit of a smart-ass. Sold me a BBQ grill that the burners rotted out a year later. Community Appliance was no help. The manufacturer told me the parts were recalled, but I had to pay for installation.Same thing one year later. J.R. never returned my calls. more

Went into this store after hours of shopping, met with the owner, he had more knowledge then all the other stores on rt 35, after 1 hour we did are whole kitchen and laundry!! Very Happy amanda k more

I went to community for a grill, they suggested the viking, best grill I ever had the delivered at a very good price? I had a problem with the ignitor the next day, They sent there installer the wire came off, simple fix. great customer service!! emilio j more

We Just bought are Bosch dishwasher at this store they delivered and installed the nex day, salesman Rodney was very good and new his product. I have been shopping all week, and by far hands down the best around. Thanks mary j n more

Hi, came to community after one of the big box stores could not get my refrigertor in my house. The salesman sent someone to my home to measure. They brouht it the next day at a better price. Great job!!!! more

Good: Did not like a thing about the salesman who was rude and nasty and deceitful selling us an up grade and delivering the lower priced model.. Bad: Would not help me get my Rebates 4 appliances. Improvements: That they give rebates regardless if they like you or not.. Other: They charge much more than their competititors for warranties. We only dealt with them for our contractor Flo Dar had us. He was far from a Bargin.. more

Ordered 3 appliances, 2 were damaged. Once they have your $ they become rude & unhelpful. Their only comment was that it wasn't their fault. Been waiting over a month since buying a standard refridg. Sales rep wouldn't get on phone when I called. They refused to accomidate my request for delivery time.which I requested before they made delivery schedule then they told me they gave appt to someone else just for spite.This simple purchase turned out to be an unbelievable nightmare. I will NEVER but from them again. more

Great place my stove broke on wednesday, went to store, delivered and installed with in two hours will never shop any where else!! more

Only helpful until they made the sale. Installation wasn't completed and no follow up was made by the company. Price seemed around the lowest (only within a few dollars) however after all of the add-ons, that were not mentioned, it became more expensive than other stores in the area. In my opinion, go to Sears/Lowes/Home depot! more
