no reason to complain 5/3/2012

Motel was clean and quiet, no reason to complain. After seeing the room (clean, good room, 69$) we wanted to check other motels for maybe better prizes, so the manager offered a 10% discount, which we accepted. We left out the small continental breakfast. Parking was free. Less than 5 minutes to walk to boardwalk. Good stay, but compare prizes, several motels in the same street. Try to get discount, even without AAA. more

nicely decorated 4/24/2012

Stayed here for one night. Contrary to what others have said here, we found this place to be better than many of the other motels in Santa Cruz. Yes, there was a lot of construction stuff lying around but they seem to be going through a renovation. The room was nicely decorated, clean and quite. This place was sold out and during the night it was really quite, no next door or outside noise. In the morning the breakfast was again much better than what other places give you. The only problem I had was that our room was towards the end and we did not get a good wifi signal in the room so I had to go to the reception in the morning with my laptop to check my emails. I would love to go back. more

The bathroom was huge and actually had a bathtub/shower. 4/16/2012

We took a last-minute trip to the beach and booked a 2 Qn room. We were very surprised and pleased with the room -- it was VERY large and also included a queen sized hide-away. The bathroom was huge and actually had a bathtub/shower and a second shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. more
