Best

I have stayed at Comfort Inns before, but the level of care and service at this one beat out hotels at twice the price. The breakfast was terrific, with make-your-own-waffles, and...

Our room appeared to have been recently reomodeled. It was very clean , and was well above what we expected for the price. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Towlels and linens very nice and clean. Very comfy pillows too. We had a very large private patio that we really enjoyed. Best continental breakfast ever....nice little cafeteria area to sit and eat. excellent breakfast selection --even make your own waffles--and was all super tasty. Highly recommended!!! more

This hotel was close to the boardwalk and ocean. Although in the dark and rain, we had a hard time finding it, we were accommodated with help parking in the little lot when we did arrive. Very pleasant staff. Nothing flashy but clean and a great location. I would stay here again. more

The Comfort Inn in Santa Cruz is light years better than some others in Santa Cruz. It is convenient to the main highways, very comfortable rooms, very clean, and well maintained. I would definitely book another stay here and recommend it to friends. more

Rate very reasonable for two queens. Very clean and quiet. Very accessible to parking lot. Just off State Rte. 17 and 1, so it's easy to get onto freeway heading north or south. Avoids commotion near boardwalk. Very good value. Rooms are quite spacious. Internet available free. more

I like the price of this hotel and the staff. You get what you pay for but for people on a budget it's great. I would stay at this hotel again. more

It's not a resort so don't have high expectations...just a nice place to get away for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised opening the door to our room the first time. After comparing other hotels in Santa Cruz and the surrounding areas, I was a little reluctant but decided that for the same price, it was more logical to stay close to all the attractions rather than driving an additional 30 minutes just to get to and from. It was about a mile from the boardwalk, wharf and a nice drive to The Mystery Spot (a must go). The room was clean with a spacious bathroom, nicely decorated, fridge, big tv and vanity. Pool area was relaxing and the front desk was very friendly. $154 for a double queen room that was booked through a website that was split so complain about the price all you want but anything cheaper will be a dump. Overall, it was a great stay and would book with them again if we ever revisit Santa Cruz. more

We love going to Comfort Inn in Santa Cruz! We have stayed there 3 times. We will be going on Valentines day weekend once again. Great place for couples if you get a room with a hot tub. Not by the beach but close to the downtown area. We live 45 minutes away, but like to go there for our mini vacations. more

The front desk was always friendly.\r The rooms were clean and didn't smell which is very important to me. I'm very sensitive to smells in rooms and my room was fine.\r The pool is small but we didn't use it.\r Location is excellent being less than two blocks away.\r The kids slept well but for me, I'm use to a firmer bed.\r Also, early in the morning I was awaken by garbage trucks I think but that's not the fault of Comfort Inn.\r I loved the shower head.\r The breakfast area is small but manageable.\r As long as you know some of the shortcomings, I will return next time when I come to the Boardwalk. more

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to everything. Our grandaughters first vacation. She rated the pool a 10, bounciness of the bed a 10, Breakfast a 10. It was her vacation for 4th birthday, she liked the Hotel better then the boardwalk! We will stay there again next year. more

The Comfort Inn Santa Cruz had easy access to local restaurants and freeways. It was clean and comfortable, with large beds and plenty of towels. The internet connection was fast and relible, which was of great importance to me on this trip. My only complaints were that several light bulbs were out, making lamps non-functional during our stay. In addition, the pool/sauna was being worked on, and we were disappointed in not having the use of the sauna after a long car drive. Howver, the price was a real steal, and the self-serve breakfast was a great amenity. I would definately stay here again. more

This Comfort Inn is conveniently located w/r restaurants, freeways, and the UC Santa Cruz campus. It is well kept and the managers are friendly. They serve a standard breakjfast: fruit, cereal, milk, coffee, pastries. I recommend the place. more

It is very clean, the staff are friendly and it's close enough to the boardwalk (although, I wouldn't suggest driving). more

We like to stay there because it is clean, decent and the price is right. It is not a luxury hotel, nor a new one, although they recently remodeled all the rooms. It has a pool, laundry room, free hi speed internet. Desk people are nice. Has a free breakfast, nothing special, but you can eat. We have stayed there several times and feel quite comfortable there. more

I love coming to stay at the Comfort Inn on Plymouth. I am from here and my family are here. They make my stay here very enjoyable and I am able to see my family which is very important to me and them. The Comfort Inn is very clean and all the staff is very nice and pleasant. I hope to continue to stay here for as long as I am able to make it to Santa Cruz. Very nice and sweet owners. more

The hotel is right off the freeway which is great. It has a pool and hot tub, which is rare down in Santa Cruz. It's my second stay there in a year and I would stay again. more

For over a year, I've been bringing my Element here for regular maintenance and repairs and have appreciated the very professional and courteous staff at Woodland Hills Honda. \r \r Carlos Montoya is the Service Consultant that I regularly ask to handle my maintenance and repair issues. His over-the-top communication is fantastic and it helps me plan the rest of my day because I have a better sense of what is going on with my vehicle and how long the service will take. If there is an issue, he notifies me quickly and works with me to solve the problem to my satisfaction.\r \r The prices have been fair thus far and I don't have any complaints. The entire crew has made my visits pleasant and I'd highly recommend Woodland Hills Honda. more

This was a solid choice for the reduced cost. Very surprise by the continental breakfast, one of the best we've come across. Neighborhood isn't the highest quality but nothing to worry about. Very convenient location with Highway. more
