Very nice people! Five Stars! 1/9/2019

Since last fall, I have used Comfort First Heating & Cooling two times. A couple of things I liked about them is one, that they were very punctual and showed up when they said they would, and two, that they were very respectful of my home and made sure to leave things as clean, tidy, and neat as when they got here. On top of that, they were just very nice people in general. When I called them, it was kind of an emergency situation, and I had to have a plumber, and they came right out! So, I give Comfort First Heating & Cooling Five Stars all around! more

Very Efficient And Experienced 1/9/2019

This was the first time we have used Comfort First Heating & Cooling. They came out and installed a new heat pump, and ran lines underneath the house, and they did a beautiful job. They are knowledgeable and professional, and their work is exceptional. They know exactly what they are doing and they handle themselves very well. Their customer service is very good. They are courteous and they get someone out in a timely manner. My wife rates them A+. I would highly recommend them and we would use them again. more

Everything Was Fine 12/7/2018

Comfort First Heating & Cooling did some servicing on my unit, and everything went fine. I'm happy with their work, and I'm glad they scheduled it automatically for me this last time. This is my first year using them, and for their first visit, I had to call them to schedule the appointment, of which I am not always able to do. This last time, however, they called me, which was much better. I'll be seeing them again this upcoming Spring. more

The technician was at our house in a timely manner. I described our heating issues, within 30 minutes he had checked our furnace for electrical problems and determined that we needed a new thermostat. Excellent job! A+++ more

Several months ago our previous service provider tried to con us into buying a brand new system. Both upstairs and downstairs. American Home Shield (AHS) sent out Comfort First. They checked the one air handler and condenser in question. There was no leak. I signed up with Comfort First for the annual maintenance contract. They just did the full fall maintenance and “everything” was fine. The technician was very thorough and friendly. Apparently very honest as well. No leaks anywhere. In addition, the UV lights were in fact functioning and did not need replacing. And, I did in fact have a safety valve in my drip pan. This 12-year old system is fine. I didn’t have to fork over tens of thousands at this point in time. Glad I had AHS as well. Thank you Comfort First. more

The servicemen were very polite and courteous. Our property is on the Outer Banks of NC so travel was involved but they stayed until job completed. I would highly recommend this company. more

Five Star Service - Start to Finish 10/8/2018

Comfort First provided top rate service for my incident with my central air system. First they came and diagnosed the problem, a dead compressor. When the insurance company balked at their expert advice to replace the unit, Comfort First and I went to the insurance company and convinced them that this would be the fourth compressor in six years for a 38 year old unit and the unit needed to be replaced. Comfort First was successful in making this point and the unit was replaced. Comfort First was in constant communication with me about the progress with the insurance company, and the time line for the replacement. When the crew from Comfort First arrived on time for the install, they were professional and wasted no time in replacing the unit. Also, and very importantly, the crew was sensitive to my wife's illness and made accommodations as needed while doing the job. I would highly recommend Comfort First to anyone needing HVAC service. more

My air conditioner went out during the storm.Ben R and David came and had the part replaced and unit up and running efficiently in a half hour! I am so glad that I chose Comfort First when having my system replaced when I purchased my home.They took the time to explain my repair and were very courteous and knowledgeable !
