Dodge is a scam 1/10/2012

Do not buy a vehicle from Colorado Springs. We bought a Nitro and was told it automatically kicks in to four wheel drive. That nitro does not sell anything but four wheel drive come to find out I have a rear wheel drive car after we were specific we would not own a rear wheel. The great news is they sold us the car at a four wheel drive value and now is not worth anything. We bought the car in June and are 15,000 upside down. We have contacted the bbb but because of the outrages amount of complaints it is taking a long time to process ours. The dealership refuses to make good. Dealing Doug just recenty got his liscence back because it was suspended over the same issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, go to Perkins if you want a dodge!! more

Best Purchasing Experience I have ever had 12/9/2011

Absolutley outstanding service. I was looking for a Ram pickup and was on a budget. Not only did these guys give me the most for my trade, but they were able to get my payments were I needed them. Their relaxed and easygoing approach made my purchase stress free and extremely easy. Though I made the deal very difficult on my end, they still came through in a big way. Big thanks to Joel, Jeremy and Jason! Go see these guys they will take care of you!!! more

Dont Buy Anything From this dealership 11/14/2011

Don't do any business with this dealership. They are crooks and dont stand behind what they sell. I bought a used vehicle with low miles and expected a ""certified"" used vehicle to have been gone through with a critical eye. Since then i have had to have some serious work done to it and do you think they would admit that they never went through the vehicle...nope!! I know they never went through it as it had just been traded in and even though they say they did they have NO RECORD of an inspection. I even recently brought it in for an oil change and even walmart oil change folks will show you your air filter but not this dealership. \r \r I shoud have read all the reviews prior!! Good luck if you decide to to business with them more

Very impressed 10/25/2011

I had been trying to sell my truck for about a month and got frustrated and impatient and decided to just trade it in. I new what I wanted so last Saturday, I was reading the used car adds in the paper and COS Dodge had several of them on their lot. I have been taking my truck to them for service for a couple of years and was very impressed with their service department. So I called them and asked for the best salesman they had and Joel answered the call. He was very friendly and knowledgeable (and by the way, he still is) so I went down there that afternoon. I told him what I was looking for and we test drove three vehicles that I was interested in. I found exactly what I was looking for and drove it home to show my wife. She agreed that this particular vehicle would be a great addition to our garage (and it would fit in the garage, unlike the truck) so we went back to the dealership and by then they had already worked up the numbers for the trade and for the new (to me) purchase. I asked if the deal they were offering was the best they could do for me and Joel asked me what I thought was fair and I said take another $500 off and BOOM! It was a done deal! I felt like we were treated well and was happy with the deal so ZIP! we were off to the finance department where we met Scott Denham who BANG! took care of the paper work like the professional that he is (and friendy too) and just like that, I was driving home in my new (to me) SUV. It was a great experience. I have read a lot of these reviews that other folks have written and most of them are real high ratings. There are a few not so good but hey, mistakes happen, people get grumpy and some people are never satisfied. I would recommend COS Dodge and Joel to anybody asking my opinion. more

Colorado Springs Dodge is a Sheisty Dealership 7/30/2011

This dealership has the most unethical business practices I've ever seen. We agreed to a price on the sales floor then when we got to financing they switched the price without telling me. I was dumb enough to take their word and now they are hiding behind this bogus contract. A classic bait and switch. This is Auto Dealer Fraud and I am suing this dealership. One should not need an attorney present when buying a car. These guys are desperate and willing to do anything to make a sale happen. Anything!! this includes outright lying. I wished I would have looked at the Better Business Bureau Website before deciding on Colorado Springs Dodge. They currently have 28 complaints against them and I will be 29. I encourage anyone that has had to deal with these liars to complain. They only get away with these types of business practices if we lay down and take it. I'm calling an attorney Monday and I'm going to try to take this dealership down. \r \r I am a Veteran of the war in Iraq with over 10 years of faithful service to this country. If I have learned anything from my time in the mlitary its that you have to fight for a just cause. The nature of the world allows for those with resources to push around those less fortunate. In this case we are those that are less fortunate. We CANNOT let Colorado Springs Dodge continue to lie steal and cheat to make a buck. \r \r go to www . bbb . org to file a Better Business Bureau complaint. more

Stay Away! 6/9/2011

After having a completed contract and left, days later they changed the contract almost charging me a hundred dollars more per month. In the mean time they sold my trade in. A really nice Dodge P/U. I could not afford the NEW contract so returned the car. I am a senior and ex. military, Viet Nam Vet. Homeland Security. They care nothing about community. more

most unethical dealership around 10/13/2010

One of the most unethical dealerships around. And that should say something considering it’s a used car dealer. First, we were told the car that we wanted to buy still had a factory warranty on it. We get to the financing department and find out otherwise. I get up and walk out and said you guys need to find a way to make this right before I buy. They call me back in and said “We will take care of the warranty”. Later I find out that this really meant there going to “add” an extended warranty to my loan at MY expense. They felt because the monthly payments didn’t go up that would be ok..YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING RIGHT! Next, shortly after buying the car I called up to cancel the extended warranty. They said “Nope can’t do that”. I then look at the actual Warrant Contract (which is a 3rd party Warranty provider) and I see they clearly have a Cancelation Policy. I call the dealership back to let them know and they said that it doesn’t apply because I signed something else that voids that Cancelation Policy. Long story short, the powers to be at the Warranty Company had to call the dealership personally. And guess what, after that they were happy to cancel my policy. I talked to the General Manager at the dealership about the unethical practices about the Warranty Cancelation policy. He said he didn’t see anything wrong and he will continue to turn people away who want to cancel their warranties. I said really “Even after the Warranty Company called you and said what you was doing is wrong and made you give me the refund per there Policy”..He said “Yep”. THIS IS THE GENERAL MANAGER PEOPLE!!. The unethical practices start from the TOP down. On a last note, when we bought the car the Sales person only gave us one key. He said “Don’t worry; it’s not one of those laser cut/microchip keys. You can just make a copy of it”. Of course we later find out this was not true and a 2nd Key would be $200. I talk to the dealership today about this and said “Sorry we can get you one for maybe $150”….You GOT TO BE KIDDING. This dealership will tell you anything to get you out of the door with a Sale. If something was wrong or misleading or anything of the sort, don’t expect them to step up and make things right. This is not just a bad experience with one person. I have had communications with at least 10 different people there. Just because there a big dealership don’t expect anything different than you would’ve got from a “Jim bob’s Auto Trader” on the corner of Nevada, type of operation. more

Unprofessional, Disrespectful, Dishonest Atmosphere 3/4/2010

If you want your wife to be sexually insulted and then your older kids, this is the dealership. When I went in to talk to the Sales Manager the greese ball was nothing but good at down playing the whole situation. So how do you make a Law suite about Sexual Harrasment to Customers, Makes no sense to do that with potential Customers. You would think they want to make money. Then direct it to older kids very bad business should be shut down hear nothing but complaints about them. Sales people fight over you then fight over getting out of dealing with you, once you say your looking for a used vehicle. Right in front of you! Very sad... would like to see it get a Revamp from General Management all the way down the ladder. Or just get rid of it. Pros: Dodge Makes Great Vehicles Cons: Management and Staff at this location more

horrible experience 12/2/2009

By far, this was the most horrible car buying experience of my life. The finance department took over 45 days to pay off my trade. I had to make another payment so it would not affect my credit. Finance then snuck in thousands in extra financing for things I said I didn't want. They lied every step of the way and became very rude when I went back to see about getting that extra paymant back. The truck is great but I will be paying more than I should have for years to come. Pros: truck runs great Cons: horrible buying experience more

Overpriced 6/15/2006
