This company is without a doubt the best of the best. From the sales person (Sam) to the granite measurement team, granite installers (Nick) and tile installers (Fran and Bob), they are the most professional company that my wife and I have had the pleaseure of dealing with. Don't do business with this company! 8/3/2010

I wish I would have read reviews on this company before I spent my money. If you have a problem with your granite....AND YOU WILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR GRANITE! They will never call you back. The man who does your template is not detail oriented and he will get it wrong. The men who install your granite are not professionals and will wreck your walls getting it in and don't care if it is done right. When you call your salesman - he will not call you back. When they say Joseph will be out to fix it - he will not show up. When you call again and they tell you to talk to Demitri - he will not be there and will not return your voice mail. By the way all of these negative posts are real. Do not beleive the bullshit that these are posted by competitors. This company has a lot of inventory but little skill or concern for doing a good job. Pros: Good Selection Cons: Horrible Customer Service, Rude sloppy installers more

Stay Away! 8/2/2010

I should have read the reviews for this company before doing business with them. I purchased granite for my double bathroom vanity. They sent out the man to prepare a template. He was not very friendly and not easy to communicate with. I told him I wanted the corner curved so that I would not have a sharp edge. When the men arrived to install my granite they were not careful in my hallway and damaged my wall and wallpaper in two spots. They then installed the granite and backsplash before I could get a good look at what they were doing. The corner was not curved and stuck straight out (not what I requested). The men were Russian and not easy to communicate with. I had the one man put on my slip that the edge was incorrect and that Joseph would be returning to finish the edge. I didn't receive a follow up call from Colonial so I left a message for Anthony. He never called me back. I called again and was told I needed to speak with Demitri but he wasn't available and I shoul more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!They had to come out 7 times to fullfill this order.They measured wrong,the piece was cut wrong,they forgot a piece...and finally I didn't get what I orderd.There communication sucks!Customer service sucks!Would highly recomend NOT using this company! more

Unbelievably Wonderful! 7/24/2010

I am a real customer in Abington, PA. My husband and I went to Colonial on a Saturday and had a very helpful saleswoman help us pick out our granite, sink and faucet. Tuesday our template gentleman showed up early (after calling to see if it was okay). 8 days after we ordered the granite, it was installed to perfection at the designated time. These people were nothing but a joy to deal with. From the saleswoman, template gent and installers. My only complaint is there was a limited selection of granite to choose from, I wanted a brownish color and there were only 4 or so to choose from once we eliminated the grays and black. Now that it's installed I absolutely love it! It's sealed, perfectly measured and made my kitchen look brand spanking new for a price that NO ONE could touch! Thank you Colonial! TERRIBLE INSTALLATION! 7/7/2010

I will never use Colonial Marble again. They did a terrible job in my kitchen. I have a small kitchen, and was told that I would only have one seam. When they were finished, I ended up with two very ugly seams. You could see them from across the room. When I complained they told me that they were in charge of where the seams go, not me. They were very rude and did not care about customer satisfaction. I should have never paid them in full the day before the installation of my counters. more

Very unsatisified. Did not honor requests as written on the contract. Got a used faucet. Seam location not honored. Granite grain flow in 2 different directions. Once money given, they were very rude. Sales people very rushed and thinking about the next customer only. They are into the volume, not the satisfaction or quality. So sorry I chose them. more

Do not make a mistake and buy here 5/30/2010

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY AND FIND A GOOD GRANITE COMPANY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.\r \r We had them do our kitchen. The backsplash was crooked, they put holes in the wrong place for the faucet so they were off center and there were chips in the granite. All of this with sloppy workmanship/no return calls and hours of frustration. more

Stay away from Colonial Marble & Granite 5/19/2010

I recently had counters replaced in my kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as a new tile backsplash in my kitchen by Colonial. I have never had a worse experience. They are all about volume?how else can they pay for their extensive advertising? Once you?ve signed on the dotted line, no one takes responsibility for the work or for return phone calls. My salesperson failed to return repeated phone calls over a two week period. The templater incorrectly measured one of the bathroom counters, causing the work to be delayed by nearly a week. The AM time slot the promised me for their second visit was not honored. In the afternoon, they finally called my office to tell me the person would be there in 20 minutes so I could head home to meet him. In fact, he showed up an hour and a half later and didn?t bring someone with him to polish and finish off the countertop. That required yet another appointment. I recommend Colonial for granite 3/17/2010

We hired colonial marble and granite to install our granite counter tops and are pleased with our overall experience. The staff was friendly and their large selection was a little overwhelming. The sales rep asked us to post our experience once the installation was complete because the company is dealing with a serious web defamation case where competitors are posting negative reviews to slander their business. I can't speak for anyone else but my own personal experience with the company and would recommend them based on the quality service they provided to me and my home. more

Best selection & price anywhere! 3/16/2010

If you're interested in granite for your kitchen tops there is no question that you must go to Colonial. I stopped in because my neighbor kept telling me about this place and couldn't believe how amazing their selection is. The most beautiful stones and hundreds of colors all indoors! I would have never expected that one hour later I had purchased granite, the next day templated and one week later it was installed!! \r \r I thank Colonial for a great experience and the beautiful granite they installed in my home! Colonial Marble Counters... 3/4/2010

This is an honest review from a real customer. I had my granite counters installed on 3/1/10. I arrived at my house at 1:00pm and the workers were waiting for me to arrive. By 2:30 they were gone. The guy warned me that some of the tiles may be broken when they took off the old countertop. None were broken thankfully. I have mixed reviews about my countertops. Some positive and some negative. \r \r Positives: Price is very good. Home Depot and Granite Transformations were over $1,000 more expensive then what we paid. Level one counter was $1999 installed. $300 extra to have the old counter removed. It comes with a new sink and faucet as well in that price. You also get a choice of three edges on your counters. The counter looks great. The counter is level (it should be) and looks just like we hoped it would. It only took a little over an hour for them to do the whole job. Selection in the warehouse is very good. More then enough colors to choose from. No pressure to bu more

This Company is absolutely terrible to deal with! Poor communication. lies and deceitfulness. If Tom was only told the truth. He should be more aware of what's going on. My Granite was cracked and Sobina talked to me like I was trash. They write their own positive reviews to try and trick the public. This business will wind up in court or at the very least out of business. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Shop around there is more reputable granite dealers. PLEASE SHOP AROUND!!! more

Perfect installation. Great experience. Priced 5 or 6 competitors and chose Colonial. They had the largest selection and the best price. They were also the most helpful in finding the color slab I was looking for. Love the sink and faucet that they provide, and the price for those was very good, too. Colonial Marble & Granite is a remarkable company!! 1/8/2010

I just got my new granite countertops last week and they look amazing! When i walked into to Colonial i was very impressed by the kitchen and bath showroom as well as their huge indoor selection of granite slabs. i was literally in and out of colonial within 1 hour. The sales person who helped me out was extremely helpful in making my selection. He helped me coordinate my new countertops with my pre existing kitchen, which reassured me that it would look great. i will be returning to colonial shortly to complete my kitchen with a new tile backsplash and maybe a new floor. The tile selection there is remarkable. The showroom floor is made up of hundreds of different floor tiles, which is great because you can see what it will look like installed. Overall i had a great experience at Colonial and will definitely reccommend them to my friends and family! Thanks again more
