I had some medical bills that I let go. They ended up in collections. I got a call from a representative from Colltech and they were very helpful. They set me up on a temporary payment plan till I could get my finances in order and pay them in full. It was easy. I would really recommend that if you get a call from a collection rep that you work with them. In my experience if you try to hide from it it just gets worse. I'm happy that I now have the bills behind me. And I appreciate that the staff at Colltech was so easy to work with. more

I had paid my bill but they are still contacting me threatening legal action, I sent proof it had been paid, however they didn't want to here it they wanted me to pay again and then I would get reimbursed later.....BULLS*&T. more

I paid a bill literally months ago. When I called to ask about the matter they said they don't receive updates on accounts when the matter is in pre-collection. Translated, this means they don't even talk to the clients before the matter must be resolved. When I called I told them that I had contacted the debtor, and had the issue resolved. They told me that it wasn't and they still were going to send me letters which nowhere state the matter is in ""pre collection"". The letters have a threatening tone, and anybody who gets them would go into fear they are in default. Remember, I paid this bill literally months ago. I told them if I receive any more letters they were going to the Attorney General. At the very least, they seriously need to revamp their communications with clients. more

I received a phone call from a collection staff. She was rude and didn't want to tell me her name. Before I answered any of her questions, I demanded to know her name. She says her last name is Sharp. Okay. I tried to reach a payment agreement, but, she was all one sided. She wanted me to pay the balance in full... That was the second call from Collech. The first person that called offered me a payment plan and said she would call back but never did. There staff is rude, unprofessional, called early in the morning, and on weekends-Sundays. Get a life...Get of my #%( )....Jerks! more

Maryann told me if i drove to plymoth she would suck my balls. how profesional. she calls and harasses my wife 8 times a day. Even saturdays! Cons: rude more

I also received a medical bill from them claiming I owed 4x the amount. Mary Ann is the most disrepectful human I have talked to in years. She even hung up on me as I asked her if her company actually owned my debt. (My first clue to call the Attorney Generals office). They are not honest or helpful. Refuse to deal with them. Go back to your original creditor so these jerks don't get paid! Know your rights before you deal with them! She told me not to call my original creditor that I would be referred back to her. Funny I called them right away and they were VERY friendly and her company didn't even enter the conversation. more

I recently received a letter in the mail regarding a bill I'm behind on. All fine and dandy, I realize I owe, just can't pay it off 100% right at the moment. Then I open and look at the letter. It's for 4 times the amount that I owe the original creditor! I owe approx 600 yet, and this is for over 2400! I then went to their website to see if this was perhaps a typo on the letter and the website has that I owe over 3000 for this account! The original medical debt wasn't this much 1 year ago when it occured!!! Needless to say they'll be getting a valiadation request from me, and I'll be filing a complaint. more

I receive my first communication from this agency via an Asset notice. They are threating to garnish my wages. I think this is bit extreme for a 1st notice. So I called right away. They are very unwilling to work with you to pay the bill. Its all or nothing! I would think that a business would do everything they can to work with you!! I realize that I owe the money and totally willing to pay it via payments. They were not even willing to see what I was thinking with payment it was NO get a loan. They would sure get more from me with payments that garnishing my wages that could take years to get it all paid. They have a Woman named Catherine that treats people with the utter most disrespect I have ever heard of in my entire life. She fails to use the mini miranda. Which is in violation of our rights under the FDCPA. This company is tolerant of their employees behavior and it is outrageous. They are a law suit waiting to happen. This Place Called me and when I asked what it was for she got very rudd and hung up on me This Place is suppose to be a collection agency and i guess if this is a ligiet place and i owed them money why would they hang up when i start asking Questions the lady couldn't even anwser my Questions she just got rudd and hung up. Sounds like a scam to me. more
