Consistently impressed 6/22/2006

Was in again on Friday night and had a great time. Our server was Alicia and she was a pleasure. She was genuinely friendly and aware of our needs w/o being overbearing. Even though we had to wait for 25 minutes (the bar was packed), it was worth it. My friend ordered the Green Curry Coconut Chicken and I had the Prime Rib. Food rocked. I've had the Prime Rib at Daniel's and this was much better--better flavor and less fatty. My friend loved her dish as well. Overall, Coho always hits the big 3 for me--great, friendly service by real people, cool atmosphere and great food. Definitely recommend. Pros: Unique, high quality dishes, great energy Cons: Usually a wait, can be a bit loud more

Best bar in town 6/22/2006

between the bar and the patio (both happy hour) this is the best bar in redmond. great drinks, good service, clean and friendly! Pros: cocktails, happy hour specials, and patio! Cons: can fill up more

Best in Redmond! 6/20/2006

Great menu with something for everyone. Best patio in town. Origional cocktails (try the summer tea one!). I like it because it has energy, flavor, and the staff is obviously passionate about what they do. Nice to see an established restaurant that does it right again and again. Pros: Service, food with flavor, consistency Cons: bit noisy, can have a wait. more

great time great food 10/1/2005

I dine here all the time. One of the best on the eastside. Comparable to a lot of much more expensive restaurants. Great atmosphere (although can be a bit noisy in a lively way) and very consistent food at a high level of quality. My favorite is the Curry or the soba, but the fresh sheets are always in the mix when i decide to order. Love the NW wine list. Staff is charming. Pros: fun, good value, great food Cons: a bit noisy, can have a wait more

Yum! New takes on classics 10/26/2003

If you can have only one thing, make it the salmon burger. It was so good! I never would have thought of serving salmon as a burger, but it was great, served with baby greens, garlic aoli, and seasoned fries, for under $10. Appetizers were yummy: crab and artichoke dip, was a BIG improvement over typical restaurant artichoke dip, and wood-grilled jalapenos stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon - yum! They didn't have any spectacular desserts, but I'd go for appetizers instead, anyway. They have quite a few "small plates" that all sounded delicious. My only complaint is with the service: though we were eating on a busy Saturday night, first they lost our reservation, so when we called to confirm we were pushed forward from 7:30 to 6:30. Then, during dinner, service was pretty slooooow, even though the restaurant hadn't filled up yet. Pros: small plates, unique dishes, moderately-priced Cons: BUSY on weekends, confirm reservations more

Two Times - You're OUT 9/26/2002

Ick! After two times of trying this place, we're not going back. Both times, the food has been horrible, portion sizes small and prices too high. Don't bother - go somewhere good! more

Awesome chops 8/30/2002

My family and I have eaten at the Redmond Coho several times and have always had a really great experience, and we have a five year old ! I would highly recommend this restaurant and In fact I often do. Last night we were shopping in Issaguah and decided to try the Coho there, we had the porkchops and the crawfish pasta, It was wonderful and the porkchops were out of this world, they were smoky flavored and so tender ! Not to mention the bisque and the rock shrimp cakes....yum... and they were very accommodating to where we wanted to sit, and treated us ( and my son ) with friendliness and promptness.. Pros: good parking, lively atmosphere, wonderful food Cons: cant think of any more
