Attempt of Assault by Jason - 6'2"" 1/30/2012

I have been a fast pass customer for a very long time now, and today quit it for me. Jason threatened that if I don't give him the Fastpass to apply on my windshield, he will need to rip it up and cancel my membership. I told him then go ahead and cancel my membership, I'm a professional and not a junkie to be treated like this by any company I give/send business to. He continued to say open the damn door (while all the other employees are standing there watching). As soon as I realized how hostile he was being with me, I closed my window shut, turned on my HD camera phone to record video, and told him no you're aren't getting the sticker, call your manager. In spite of my remark, he remained to stand in front of my truck not enabling me to leave the express watch. I was wedged in between the exit of the car wash and him. I felt at that point my best move to make is remain there and call the police but I gave him a minute or so before I did that so I instead called my lawyer and told him what was going on. I remained in my car while he stood in front of my truck staring at me with a smirk. He told one of the other workers who were watching to move and rearrange the cones so that cars exiting the car wash behind me would be driven around my truck. When I saw that, I just I realized he won't move. So in reply to his acts of danger, I tried to reverse a bit to leave through the exit where the employees detail the cars. He jumped in front of my truck and left me no room. At this point I was too close to the car wash exit and there was a trail of cars coming out. I kept looking in my rearview mirror hoping none of the cars will be tossed out by the car wash and hit my truck. Luckily as soon as the first car began to exit the car wash, it approached my vehicle very quick leaving the air drier and thats when Jason finally moved. Unfortunately, he didn't move to let me go, but hopped onto my truck hanging on to it shaking it with his weight and slammed on my window with his knuckles yelling at me ""Open the f**kin door now! Gimme the f**kin pass motherf**ker!"". I looked over at the rest of the employees to see if they would get him off my truck and they just stood there in awe watching us. He then continued to slam on my window while taking breaks to pull my door handle as if the door will open while it's locked. I slapped the sticker on in fear and I yelled through the window get off my damn truck and get your manager, he jumps off puts his face against my window and slammed on it some more saying ""what're you gonna do about it motherf**ker?!?"". That's when I noticed the exit was clear and I sped off as he chased after my truck out to the street. I stopped at the stop sign on bell rd and lowered my window to curse him back and he began to increase his pace after my truck. I made the right turn and took off. I will never forget what happened this morning. Cobblestone will know about this. more

Rude Employees 12/6/2011

On a hot summer day in Phoenix (temperature over 100 F), I stopped to buy self-service gasoline. I had not intended to go inside the store, but the gas pump would not print a receipt, so I had to go inside. As soon as I get to the door, a female behind the counter tells me I cannot come inside. I tell her I need a receipt. Acting as if it were a big chore, she deigns to give me. I mention I would like to buy some merchandise, but she refuses to permit it. She tells me, in a nasty voice, that if I need someone else to tell me I cannot come in, she can arrange it. Well, of course, I left the store. I have checked with the health department, and there is no statute or regulation that requires a male customer to wear a shirt inside a business establishment. I called the manager. She was a loud-mouthed female too. She tells me I am not welcome in the store without a shirt. I tell her that is okay, because there are plenty of convenience stores in Phoenix/Scottsdale where it is not a problem, and they are happy to do business with me. Many of those places charge less for gasoline too. If these lazy, rude, obnoxious affirmative action females had been doing their jobs (i.e. making sure that the gas pump had paper in it so that it could print a receipt), this would not have happened, but I guess work that like that would ruin the finish on their nail polish. Do not shop here. There are plenty of friendly places. more

Costly Car Wash 8/25/2011

Frank Lloyd Wright Cobblestone Auto Spa scratched the inside of my windshield and would not take responsibility for it. I have an immaculate newer Toyota Tundra and noticed a 2 inch fine scratch in the center of the driver's side. I noticed it right away within a couple blocks from Cobblestone after getting a simple $15 wash plus $5 Rain-x. I thought it must be a streak on the outside of the windshield because it didn't wipe away from the inside when I tried to rub it off while driving. I drove all morning, checked it out after lunch and discovered the scratch WAS inside. I called immediately, was told to come down which I did. The manager tried to wax it out and said I couldn't prove they did it. Supervisor tried the wax treatment and said the same - Sorry, tough luck. He told me I may have done it - I said the scratch is smack in the middle of my side of the windshield. It is a new scratch that wasn't there before I brought the truck in. I got the corporate office number, called and left a message but no reply. Beware. High pressure sales by monster drink junkies. Business has no integrity. Thugs. more

I went there today for the first time and I was SO impressed. My complete detail was very resonable, and they managed to get stains and scratches out that I thought were permanent. The customer service was incredible, from the nice young man who checked my car in, to the cashier and even the service manager who gave me the keys to my car. Cobblestone has Deffinetly won a LOYAL cutomer! Great job Cobbelstone! Pros: Cost, Quality, Customer Service Cons: Could not find anything wrong! more
