Chris Is The Best!! 2/11/2012

As soon as we drove on to the lot Chris was there to help us decide on which car was best for us and offered to let us browse with no pressure and when we were ready he let us test drive the one we wanted. he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and very friendly. We at no point felt pressured in any way and it has been a pleasure to work with him. more

I went to Larry Hill Imports to look for a car. They found me the perfect car. I couldnt have customer ordered a car better for me. Everyone was so nice and helpful, not only the day of the sale but afterwards as well. They have helped me with alot of things as far as service after too. The prices are great and the cusomer service is phenominal!!!! I have sent many of my friends there since then and everyone has been so excited and appreciative just as I was. There is no comparison to all of the folks at Larry Hill Imports! Mr. Sather was even involved in my deal and made me feel special. Another Bait and Switch 12/28/2010

I would like to express my feelings about trying to buy from out of town. I have been in the service business for over23 years. I have bought vehicles all over the Southeast from my office sight unsee and the Ford dealer delivered to my door at my exspence. My experience with your company is far from any I have had with ford dealers. We currently have a fleet of 23 ford vehicles. I called last Thursday and tried to hold the vehicle by credit card. This was not allowed. I tried to do the paperwork thru overnight to secure this vehicle. It was not allowed. I was always given the excuse that you guys had been burned before. Iasked about delivery at my exspence. I was told this was not allowed. What is allowed at this dealership. Brad was told to used the excuse that he didn't know he was talking to Chris Silliman. Thats real easy call me back and ask my secretary who owns the company........Brad had to ask every move to make and then call me back hours later. I called yesterday to to make sure everything had gone thru. I was told that Brad was with a customer and he would call me back, he never did. Now I am being told that this truck has been sold becuase Brad was off yesterday and nobody knew about it. Is there just a select few that know anything around this dealership? Now Brad sent me another truck to look at...not at all what I wanted and why would I drive all the way to Cleveland Tenn after being shafted on the first truck. I asked Brad on Monday to make sure he held this vehicle. he said he would. We even joked about setting the truck outback. Now someone walks off the street and buys it out from under me. Thats a very slack way to run a business. I am not a happy almost customer. After reading all the other reports on here I do also feel it's a bait and switch philosophy....I hope you get burned LARRY more

Unethical Business Tactics - BUYERS BEWARE 5/26/2009

I purchased a vehicle from Larry Hill Ford in April 2008. I was told it was a one owner vehicle. The car looked great and has very low miles. After inspecting the vehicle I noticed that the ""FORD"" emblem on the rear hatch was damaged. I asked the salesman what happened? The only way I could think that such damage could occur was if the vehicle has been t in a rear in accident.. I asked him if it has very been in an accident. He stated no. That the owner was most likly rough with it. But they would replace the emblem if I bought the car. I asked him to run the carfax and I would come back the next day and make a decision. Next day he said he ran the report and it was clear. I bought the car. Since then have had problems with the rear hatch leaking, the left tail system completing burning our, twice. After taking it back to have the tail light system replaced for the second time in less than 3 months I found out it has been wrecked. I pulled the carfax myself and found that it was in a rear end accident that resulting the vehicle being towed. I contacted Larry Hill Ford Sales Manager Mike, who apologized and told me to come up on Tuesday and he would replace with a ""black Edge"" fully loaded he had on the lot. He continued to say he wanted to make it right. I went up on Monday instead of Tuesday to avoid taking off a day since I was off on Monday due to the holiday. I called Mike and told him I was coming. When I got there he told me he did not have the edge he told me about that it had been sold and offered me an Explorer or a car. I informed that I wanted what I purchased, and Edge. Long story, I left the vehicle with them as I did not buy a ""wrecked""d vehicle and was not keeping one. I endded up having to call someone to come and get me. Rent a car at my expense. As of today I have been told my Mike that ""they are trying to find me an ""Edge"". To sum this up, do not beleive a thing their salesman tell you. Sham on you LARRY HILL,!! If I am albe to get this resolved you can rest assured I will not recommend them to anyone and hope that all future buyers will be smarter than I, run and pay for your own Carfax for as low $109.00 will send a certified inspector to the dealership who will personally inspect the vehicle before you buy. Who Wants the Aggravation? 1/9/2009

The salesman was new but very good albeit a little slow on the computer. The price was OK but we were never given the chance for a little old fashion haggling because the used car sales manager stepped in and from that point it was pressure, pressure, pressure. I was going to call the salesman tomorrow because the day was getting long and late but when the manager refused to let me close our truck door, that was the final straw. BEWARE OF LARRY HILL BAIT AND SWITCH 3/14/2008

Beware of the sales people @ Larry Hill Ford. I contacted them today and spoke with a salesman named Jay. I ask him about the 2007 Taurus for $8888.00 and ask how many he had on the lot for that price. Jay stated that there were 7 or 8 @ that price so I set up an appointment to see them. I went with every intention to buy 1 on the spot. After an hour drive to get there I am told that really they only had 1 car at that price and that it had just sold, but had several others form $13,000 to $15,000. To me this is aclear bait and switch deal. I left the lot and was called by Jay who wanted to me to come back and still do business with him, but I said NO. Shortly I was called by Chris, the used car sales mgr., who wanted to know why I would not dill with Larry Hill Ford. I stated that I felt they were running a bait and switch and was going to contact the BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU about it at that point he hung up. BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHOOSE TO DILL WITH LARRY HILL FORD.
