CUSTOMERS BEWARE!\r \r CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! This place rips people off. I decided to go to this location because they were listed on the WA state emissions list. My 2002 Toyota Camry didn't pass emissions. The check engine light was on and it turns out it was catalytic converter. I took it here to have them replace it. They charged me $589.99 for the part and over $1000.00 total for the labor and part. I'm a young women in her early 20's. I sincerely feel they totally took advantage of my age, race, and gender. About 3 yrs pass and my check engine light pops up again I take it back to them to see if the part was still under warranty and to have them read the check engine light again. They tell me the part is out of warranty and the mechanic turns off my check engine light and says he can't do a read on it if its not on. I know 100% that my check engine light was and he talk to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Two days later the check engine light pops up again I take it to Auto Zone to have them do a free read on it because I didn't trust Classic Muffler & Auto Repair. Auto Zone read it was the catalytic converter the part #55435 only cost $234.99 and comes with a 5yr warranty. Classic charged me $589.99 for the same part and over charged me for the labor totaling over $1000.00. CLASSIC MUFFLER & AUTO REPAIR IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, OVER CHARGE, AND ARE LIARS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. I SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED MY GUT AND TURNED AROUND THE FIRST TIME WHEN I DROVE UP TO THIS PLACE AND SAW THAT IT LOOKED LIKE A JUNK YARD. more

I'm new to Washington State and am not related to anyone who owns or works for Classic Muffler and Auto (see older comment from a disgruntled person). Two people recommended this shop to me, so I took my classic, restored Alfa Romeo to have an exhaust system repair. They not only fixed the exhaust system, they did it quickly, carefully, and (don't tell the owners) charged me way less than they should have. more

Classic Muffler was recommended to me, after my wife and I moved to WA and had several unpleasant experiences with garages. Brian and his guys are tops. VERY honest. VERY knowledgeable. He's had several opportunities to cheat me, and hasn't. These are all reasons why he has so many customers. The only negative is the name of his company: he's a full-service garage AND body shop, not just a brake and muffler outfit. I have NOTHING bad to say about this garage and its men. Chances are, you won't, either. more

(March 4th, 2010) I first took my Subaru in to get ALL the oil leaks fixed from the previous owner. They informed me that oil had been leaking onto the timing belt and if I drove it much more the belt could snap and mess up the whole motor. So I asked them to fix that too. When I got my car back they told me that I might smell some oil burn off for a little while but to get an underbody car wash and it might help. I paid $1,200. more

Took in our 2003 trailblazer for new brakes and a clutch fan replacement. They had the repair completed in one day and when picking up the vehicle the technician explained to me that he found some loose items in the rear end area and repaired that as well without charge. Said it was a quick fix. I knew there was a rattle back there but could not find it. and presto it was gone! Great place to take your vehicle. Pros: Oustanding Customer Service more

Dont believe evrything you read! Especially when the comments posted are by family! Prices are expensive and dont have the same guarantee that other local places provide! more
