Clarke Automotive Systems

I chose Clark Automotive as our auto repair shop over 10 years ago. I worked as an auto mechanic and a service writer so I knew what to look for in terms of equipment, support, techs and price. Prior to Clark Automotive I did my own maintenance, however I was now looking to have a shop maintain my vehicles instead. I wanted a ""by the book"" mechanic not a hack mechanic. I have been satisfied with my choice. The question about a shop is not if they are perfect, if you go to a good shop for over 10 years eventually something will happen that does not go as expected. The question is, when something does not go as expected will the shop take ownership. How will you be treated when things are not right. When it's hard, will the shop step up. I disagree with Mike S that the owner talks down to people and bullies people. I have not experienced shady business practices and I have the knowledge to know if I had. As far as the owner's character, it has been my experience that he lives his christian values.He has shown me that he is not a hypocrite, quite the contrary. Even when it is hard due to cost or time he has treated me honorably. more

Absolutely Abismal!!\r The Owner talks down to you while he works and bullies his employees. He has shady business practices; he kept my corvette for four days, worked on it for a total of one hour, charged me for the diagnosis time and could not reach any conclusion. I researched the problem of my vehicle online and I knew more than he did about the vehicle and its systems. This place is a waste of time, they are crooked, unattentive, bullies, the Owner would not even let you talk before he was cutting you off. I called more than 20 times in a four day consecutive period and he never remembered who I was nor what vehicle was mine. He would say I will call you right back and never once did he return a call. If I had to do this again I would rather go repair my car at a pottery studio; they would have more expertise than these jokers. Absolutely horrible service! They charged me $104.60 to store my vehicle for four days. DO NOT GO HERE, THIS GUY NEEDS A LESSON IN MANNERS AND NEEDS TO APPRECIATE HIS CUSTOMERS. Please be warned, this is the worst repair shop in the history of mankind! His technician appeared to be a great guy but while I was having a conversation with him, the Owner cut him off and intimidated him, who does this guy think he is. Mr. Owner you are nothing but a front, you give the appearance that you care, but are nothing but a hipocrite. You should get a lesson in manners, I have been treated better. I am in a customer service driven industry you dont belong in charge, you should pack it up so that you can become a used car salesman as this is what you behave like. more

Whenever I ask for Bob?s help during occasional car breakdowns, he always focuses on the problem of my car and how to resolve it immediately. I like this trait of his because I have been with mechanics before who begin to offer me a lot of extra auto repair services just a few moments since I came in their auto repair shop! I recommend Clarke Auto to everyone. This auto repair shop is located in Brandon and is not hard to find. more

Clarke Auto is very honest when it comes to their auto repair charges. Often have I been ripped off by some auto repair shops because I do not know anything about cars. That, and also because I am a girl. So it really is a blessing that I get to know about Bob and his team. I am now more confident as a female car owner. more

I like going to this Bob?s auto repair shop because they have earned my trust the first time I brought my car for a quick fix. They treated me fairly and with respect. I am hesitant to visit auto repair shops in Brandon without my brother or any guy friends because some mechanics tend to be chauvinists most of the time. It?s like I cannot understand whatever it is that they are going to do to my car just because I am a woman! Clarke Auto proved that there still are auto repair shops in Brandon with good values. There are hundreds of auto repair shops in Brandon, FL and a lot of them have not been approved by the AAA. Clarke?s has been around for years now and they have a great reputation for providing professional services to their customers. I am a customer and have been one for 2 years now. I really don?t get why I spotted some bad reviews. These guys are good mechanics and I can swear by that. Trust only ASE certified and AAA Approved repair shops like Clarke?s. more

My car is 5 years old now. It?s not as good as it used to be but it is still great shape. I don?t know much about cars but I do know you need to have it tuned-up at least once a year. Clarke?s does that for me and so far, I haven?t been in trouble yet. I?ve never had a breakdown in the middle of the road and my husband says the engine still sounds good. It?s may just be a once a year thing but it helps a lot on the maintenance and damage prevention department. more

I went to Clarke Auto yesterday to have my car fixed. There was something wrong with my auto ac. As luck would have it, they have a 15% off promo on all their general auto repair services. I told my friend about it and he went there today for a routine car maintenance (and to avail of the auto repair discount for sure!). I urge those people in Brandon who need to have their yearly auto check up to do it now. Don?t waste this opportunity. more

I was on my way to my aunt?s house for our annual holiday gathering when I sensed that there was something wrong with my brakes. It doesn?t bite well. Good thing I drove past by Clarke Automotive Systems. I just waited for a little over an hour and my brakes were back to normal again. I won?t forget my experience with you guys.
