Worst

This is one of the biggest modeling scams out there. 79 year old Jeffrey Mitchell meets with clients and essentially ""forces"" them to hand a credit card number over immediately....

The Real Deal- I adore the City Model and Talent Team 1/25/2012

This agency is the real deal and if I could stand at the top of a mountain and scream it for all to hear I would. I have worked with quite a few trying to break into the modeling industry being that i have always been told that I have the looks for it. I always end up going in and meeting with them and then I am booked for notta- nothing. City Model and Talent has been AMAZING! I met with the owner Jackie Krentzel and she talked to me about what their agency could do for me. Then a few weeks later the jobs just started rolling in. I booked a runway show with them and was invited back to model for the designers in a print ad. it is such a tough industry to break into but City Model and Talent is one the few real agencies that can actually help you make it out there. more

Suffolk County Supreme Court agrees they SUCK! 12/13/2011

IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!!!! They are thieving bast**ds! And it ain't just ME saying the... The Supreme court of Suffolk County said the same thing. MY ADVICE... 12/11/2011

I'm sorry for anyone who ever walk in that office. After meeting with Jack, he will ask you to take and pay for pictures just in the first time you meet with him. After few days he will call you to check out the pictures and unexpectedly he will ask for more money in order to get a job in the future which is a false promise. BECAUSE YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM HIM. It's OK not to believe my review, but remember if you ever got in that office don't take pictures and give your money away. more

BEWARE!!!! 12/1/2011

I made an appt. to meet with Amy with City Model and Talent. She happened to be the third person to call & urge me to come into the office for an interview. I finally agreed to go in after recieving several calls. Then read a review about how when you get to the interview you would be coxed into paying hundreds in dollars for pictures. And they are located very far from where I live. So I decided to cancel my appt. and think it over some more. When I told Amy this she immediately put a man named Jack on the phone who tried to convince me to come in by saying that he got my picture from Hollywood Models in LA and that I'd only have to come to their office one time. I said that I didn't think I was interested any longer which seemed to infuriate him. Jack then muttered inaudible words and basically hung up on me. He then called me back and left a message saying "" I just called Hollywood Models and told them not to bother with you. You'll probably call them when your in a nursing home."" Boy am I happy that I didn't waste my precious time or money traveling to a so called ""modeling agency"" that would get angry with someone for using wisdom. City Model and Talent seem to eager to get people to come into their offices; Calling several times in a week for weeks until you agree to come in, fast talking commission preditors, Close the deal type of approach.... sounds to me like a money making scam. And not for the talent but for the establishment. Shame on Jack and his team for preying on peoples dreams! Beware and use wisdom. Modeling agencies have open calls, Go to those! more

City Model and Talent has been absolutely amazing. it is my first time modeling and I dont really consider myself a natural but the print work has been out of this world. I already landed a national magazine ad, and two runway shows. I even referred my 10 year old niece last month and she already landed a commercial. This agency has the connections and I just needed to share with everyone. Hopefully my gigs wont go down if everyone knows about CMT :p. Im sure they wont though. more

Jack of City Model & Talen is NOT to be trusted 11/4/2011

I took myself and my children to City Model & Talent after they called me telling me that they wanted me to bring my daughter in. I was pleased. I met with Jack and he promised all sorts of great things. He charged me $500 for each of us to take photographs. Two weeks later I reviewed the photographs and were not pleased. I could not understand why he would want us to take photographs unprepared. It was not professional at all. I complained and presented my displeasure to him and his staff. He then told me he would take the photographs again and I would have to pay to be on their website for bookings. This is something that he did not tell me when we meet before. He promised my son an interview with a photographer because this is something that he wants to do. Needless to say I will be heading to Court to get my money back. This is a horrible way to run a business and anytime your customers are not happy or pleased with any work, they should be entitled to a full refund. I wish to have no more dealings with them at all. more

Recieved 3 Go Sees in just a few weeks- Awesome job 8/3/2011

Went in a few weeks ago to take some glam shots from City Model and Talent, and they came out great!! They worked with me to send them to various outlets & designers and I've received 3 credible responses, wanting me to come in on a Go See! I'm so excited and can't thank CMT enough for their hard work!!! more

This Model and Talen Agency Rocks- Literally-Booked Rocawear 8/3/2011

Great place to display your talents...a friend of my mine whom also worked with them was just booked for Rocawear and they've helped me get cast in several fashion shows in the Manhattan & Brooklyn. Best Modeling Agency If You Are Trying to Break into The Biz 8/1/2011

I was so skeptical about my daughter entering into the modeling industry. You hear so many bad things and shes so young and beautiful that I really wanted to pr0tect her from the dirt bags that sometimes come with that career choice. I stumbled upon City Model and Talent and Jackie Krentzel- best choice I ever made! They have landed her major gigs and yes...I cried watching her walk her first few runway shows more
