This is one of the biggest modeling scams out there. 79 year old Jeffrey Mitchell meets with clients and essentially ""forces"" them to hand a credit card number over immediately....

They post fashion shows that their models have been in, castings, booked jobs and upcoming events!! They just did a fashion show and had PR from US Weekly, InStyle Mag, Black Tie Magazine, Hercampusdotcom and the best Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen from the Real Housewives of NY attended. more

city model and talent is a rip off. i know because me and my husband just recently took our baby to have an interview with them to be disappointed by them telling us that we had to pay a upfront fee of $350 for her photo shoot. now ive done my homework and from what i've learned any legit modeling agency is not suppose to charge anyone any upfront fees until they land someone a job, then and only then do they get their commission. \r \r the manager/director became enraged when i told him that i've done my homework on agencies that scam people, and that he's not suppose to charge an upfront fee.\r \r anyone who is looking to become a model, please do your research, and read reviews on any agency of your choice before you sign or pay for anything...\r go to these websites www. modelingadvice www.modelingscams and call the department of consumer affairs....\r \r Good luck more

The FACT is the good reviews you see HERE OR ANYWHERE are complete BS. They are written BY THEIR STAFF. They get NOBODY paid gigs, but lots of UNPAID work. And when one of their clients DOES get a paid gig from anywhere, they claim ""City Model and Talent's own Mary Smith got a job for_______"" EVEN WHEN THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BOOKING THAT JOB!!!! Throw your money in the toilet, or give it to them. Same difference! more

People need to realize that City Model and Talent is not a scam! They are the one true legit company out there that markets promotes and provides work and auditions for their clients. They do nothing that is a LIE! This industry is very difficult to get into, so people who hate on city model and talent should work on their craft to being the best they can be for auditions instead of pointing fingers. Stay away, I'm serious cause I've been there. all they based on is ""LIES"". Be careful they are only photographers. Jack is very convincing and shady. On the first day he'll $350 around for photo shoot. later he'll ask for another $400 to put your pic on their site for jobs (which he wouldn't mention in the beginning). You'll never hear from him for job opportunities after that. Another thing you will be able to get your pictures only with and additional amount of $65. That's about it. Cons: get tricked and Feel Bad. more
