Cillis, Victor, Md - Pediatric Associates

Dr. Cillis himself isn't so bad. He does a fairly good job and the kids seems to like him. There is one good older receptionist I found to be helpful, the rest of the staff is simply miserable and clearly doesn't want to be doing what they're doing. One of the younger nurses most certainly should have chosen a different career path than working with young kids and I feel there may be a slight sadistic feeling she gets when shoving needles into people. The office is cold and while it might have a "cool castle" it doesn't make up for the lack of friendliness you expect at a pediatricians office. The only reason we haven't moved to a different doctor as of yet is that so far they've at least met our needs and its such a pain to have records switched somewhere else. For a pediatrics office, you'd think they would be smiling and happy, not at all. Horrible service every time. Sorry to say this, but dr. cillis seems like he's ready to retire, nice man, but, you can tell his heart is not in it anymore. Music, and a different front desk staff would help. more

I used Dr. Cillis as a pediatrician for my kids. The staff was nice and he was great with my son who was 3-4 at the time. He came highly recommended from friends and family. My kids loved it, mostly because of the waiting room which has a very cool castle, among other toys, and often a nice kid’s movie playing. The office is clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned after my first visit with my daughter. They did her shot before the visit, which seems to be a general policy there. I know he has his reasons but I thought it made it harder for her to have the exam while she was still so upset about the shots. On top of that he gave me quite a bit of unsolicited general parenting advice. Sticking with the medical advice and taking the parenting advice with a grain of salt, I thought he was okay. However, when it came time for my son’s appointment, I was more than pleased. My son is quite sensitive and shy, but Dr. Cillis had him cooperating, laughing, and talking with him. So, for the older one, I thought he was great. We only had him for about a year as we moved out of the area, but I would recommend him. more
