Review content:
I used Dr. Cillis as a pediatrician for my kids. The staff was nice and he was great with my son who was 3-4 at the time. He came highly recommended from friends and family.
My kids loved it, mostly because of the waiting room which has a very cool castle, among other toys, and often a nice kid’s movie playing. The office is clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned after my first visit with my daughter. They did her shot before the visit, which seems to be a general policy there. I know he has his reasons but I thought it made it harder for her to have the exam while she was still so upset about the shots. On top of that he gave me quite a bit of unsolicited general parenting advice. Sticking with the medical advice and taking the parenting advice with a grain of salt, I thought he was okay.
However, when it came time for my son’s appointment, I was more than pleased. My son is quite sensitive and shy, but Dr. Cillis had him cooperating, laughing, and talking with him. So, for the older one, I thought he was great. We only had him for about a year as we moved out of the area, but I would recommend him.
