The Holy Spirit truly moves through the Pastors God has called to be there. They truly are shepherds for the sheep that need direction, guidance, care, correction, fed and love. God's word is what is preached, not some watered down message in a cloud of smoke, lights and theatrics. God's Holy presence is in each service. I truly am at home at COTR. Now a member for a year I recommend for all that are hungry and those who don't know they are hungry for God's word to move in their lives to make a difference in this world... Visit at least three times and you will see the Holy Spirit move with solid biblical teaching. more

I am definitely surprised at the negative reviews. I've been at Church on the Rock for just over four years and I've never heard anything about curses or hexes. I appreciate Pastors preaching the Word and encouraging us to study the Word and find out for ourselves what it says. I've seen some incredible results in my life and in my family from being planted at COTR (Psalm 92:13, 1 Cor. 12:18) and putting to practice what is being taught. Like one reviewer said, demonic spirits don't bring blessings; it's just not possible in a place where the Holy Ghost is always present and the Word is being preached. I've never felt pressured to give or serve and I appreciate our Pastors giving all glory to God. Maybe those who wrote the negative reviews have never been taught on honor (1 Tim. 5:17). I've never seen anyone bow down to our Pastors, but I have seen plenty give honor where it's due. Can't really argue with the Word (Psalm 119:128). Again, I've seen too many results in my life to call what's being taught anything but the Word. I can't discount what God's doing, and I know many others who've been healed, delivered, and set free by Jesus since they've been planted at COTR and acting on the Word that's being preached. Seems like a slap in the face to Jesus and to those that have received miracles to call them fake. I wonder if the woman with the issue of blood had people calling her miracle fake in her day. I'm not saying COTR is the only great church out there, but it is the place where my family and I are planted and growing and learning to spread the Gospel. I'm very grateful that God loved me so much to perform His Word in my life and give me such a wonderful church and Pastors (Jeremiah 3:15). more

The bible tells us that those who are planted in the House of God..will flourish. It also says in Corinthians, that God places us in the body (church), as it pleases Him. There is a specific church body that God has for each believer. You have a supply to bring to that body...your gifts, talents, etc... Since my wife and I have been hooked up with Church On The Rock, we have grown in the Word and have a relationship with God like never before. Pastors Dennis and Angie are true shepherds. The best way to judge if you are in the ""right"" place is if you have peace in your heart, and if there is fruit in your life. My wife and I are more blessed, joyful, healthier, and have a better marriage than ever before. Money can't buy what ONLY GOD can provide. And this is all because we are hooked up where God wants us, and living what is being preached. I can guarantee the 2 people that wrote negative reviews have never been planted in a church, or at least the ""right one""...and therefore will never flourish. Obviously, the fruit in their life is rotten. C.O.T.R is awesome!!! No demonic spirits here....Like I said, I've never been MORE BLESSED in my whole life. FYI, demonic spirits don't bring blessings, duh!! Must be something else... THE HOLY SPIRIT. more

Wow! I dont know what the other people are talking about but they must not have been at the same Church I attend! Our Pastor always tells us to go and check out the Word for ourselves do our homework! He has NEVER said that he is the only one that can teach us! He always preaches the Word and teaches us how we can grow in our relationship with God! His heart and his wives heart is to always see us grow and become who God called us to be! He always says get connected and planted where God wants you to be! If it's not here that is totally fine go find your place! I am so glad I have found my place, and truly found a place where i belong and where i can grow into all God has called me to be! Also the congregation is so sweet and welcoming that its contagious! You dont want to leave because you feel Gods love!!! :) more

John tells us to try the spirits and see if they are of God. This church has many demonic forces holding back the Truth. Like the previous reviewer said the church is a Pastor centered church, not Christ. The pastor follows church doctrine and teachings of his previous pastor from the breakaway church the COTR Indiana. Elders bow down to the pastor. The congregation is being deceived because the pastors mind control has the congregation thinking he is the only one that can teach them about God. Jesus said more

Finally, I found a church that preaches the bible and allows the Spirit of God to flow and move. If you're tired of churches that don't feed your spirit, then this is your church. In just one visit, you will sense the presence of God and know you're in a place that teaches the word and God's love is manifested. more

This church preaches the Word of God and nothing else! And I really appreciate that! Everyone is very nice and you feel that as soon as you walk in! So if you want to hear the word then go to this church and check it out for yourself! :) more
