They came to the house today during the agreed-upon time window. Nice lady in Dispatch called 20 minutes before the tech arrived. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and did a good job fixing a water leak and unclogging two slow drains. Great job guys! Maybe a little expensive but he had the needed parts and now everything works. more

Our house was built by DR Horton in Feb 2007and the A/C was installed by Christianson A/C. Yesterday I get home and find one unit compressor failed and will not start and a fun Austin summer temperature of 102. Since I'm a veteran and spent 4 years working on a variety of stuff in the USAF, including industrial A/C, I get out my meter and check the basics and then do a bit of swapping between a working unit and the failed unit. We have used them before. So we called them up to fix our upstairs air conditioning. It was leaking water. We have had the unit turned off since last fall. They came out and gave us price of $1800 to fix. We told them that we can't afford that much right now and not to fix the unit. We paid them for the service call and they left. They also left the unit on and while we were out of the house the unit continued to leak water that damaged the downstairs ceiling, wall and wood floors. When we called them up, they told us that they are not responsible for the damage. Customer service means nothing to them. By the way, we got another quote from a reputable company and they quoted $600 LESS!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

My hot water heater went out Wednesday night. I called my home warranty and they sent out a plumber they had under contract the next morning. The guy came out, quoted my job and even though I not only have a home warranty AND a warranty on the actual hot water tank, I was still quoted this job at over $2100!!! That's right, $2100 out of my own pocket despite all of that. I sent him away literally in tears not knowing how I could fix this problem. more

Great Customer Service! 2/8/2011

I got a very prompt reply to my e-mail request for some assistance regarding a frozen pipe. They were able to solve the problem over the phone and even followed up later to make sure everything was okay. I was grateful for their time and patience. I will definitely contact Christianson for any future plumbing, heating, A/C issues. Thanks for the great customer service! more

Excellent work done professionally 8/9/2010

Christianson installed two separate Trane systems for my home, one for upstairs and one down. The old units were out and the new in and working is less than 6 hours. They arrived on-time, were careful with drop cloths, and cleaned up afterwards. The crew was polite, efficient and professional. Would definitely used them again and recommend them to anyone. more

We had to have the AC drain pan replaced and Christianson Air Conditioning sent out an estimator. He gave us the estimate for the repair and I also told him I wanted the unit serviced at the same time. However, the crew that came out only replaced the drain pan. They were not the guys who do the servicing. So, it took another technician to come out to service the unit for a separate charge. I would definitely use them again. The guys are great and they were really nice, but I thought everything would be done in one shot and it was not. more

Horrible Customer Service 6/22/2010

Christianson Air Conditioning installed the AC unit at my brand new home in 2006. First they came out in 2007 because they put too much freon in the AC unit and had to drain some of it due to this horrible noise. Then they came out the following year in 2008 to fill it up because they drained too much of it the previous year. Then they had to come out in 20-09 because it needed a supplemental power source. They charged me $300. This year, 2010, the power source failed and I am with out AC in the summer again! 4 summers in a row. They wanted to charge me another 300 for this issue. I told them no way I will find someone else. Do not use this company. Pros: None Cons: Horrible service more

In 2007 House Medic Handyman Service utilized Christianson for all our plumbing and A/C needs. Our customer were given great service, fair pricing and the fastest troubleshooting available in the Austin residential market. We would recommend these folks over and over. more
