In General It Was A Good Experience 7/1/2016

Christensen Roofing did our roofing and everything looks great. The roofers did a good job. They were on time and neat. However, several months later I did experience a leak and a roofer came out to repair it and as a result everything is functioning well now. more

It was a good experience: Good job, good cleanup, and we were satisfied 6/3/2016

Christensen Roofing replaced the entire roof and it turned out well. They did a really good job. The material was good and they recommended someone to come and do the gutters, and it was good. It's expensive, but I thought the price was reasonable. I would use them again. more

Didn't finish the job 5/9/2016

I wish I could rate the guys over at Christensen Roofing higher but they have not finished the job that I contracted them to do. They did not paint all the parts that I needed them to paint and I can not reach the areas that they did not finish. The areas that they did do look great but I wish they would have finished it. If they would come back and finish the work, I still have the paint that they told me to buy I would definitely give them a higher rating. more

Christensen Roofing, Escondido, Ca I am generally leary of contractors and am very cautious dealing with them. No worries, if you choose to go with Sid Christensen. He is nice, knowledgeable, courteous, reliable and does a fine job. It hardly ever rains in San Diego, but recently there were rain storms and we discovered numerous leaks throughout our home. All 4 of our skylights and underlayment needed to be replaced on our terra cotta tile roof. Sid Christensen prepared a quote, was within budget and on schedule. His workers did a great job and neatly cleaned up the premises upon completion. We now have peace of mind that our house will be nice and dry on the next one. We trust his warranty and know he will return if we discover any problems with his work. We will recommend him to our friends and neighbors. Sid, Thank you for a fabulous job! more

Great service! 3/25/2016

Christensen Roofing repaired a couple of roofs on a few houses that I sold. They didn't overbid, they were prompt, they always showed up, and they made sure they took care of everything. If I had a complaint they always took care of it. Their prices were on-target. They weren't extremely low, but they weren't the most expensive either. Sid communicated really well and he doesn't do more than you really need. He is competitive. Overall Christensen Roofing was excellent. more

I have recommended Christensen Roofing because the pricing was good and fair, and they were timely and did a good job. They repaired our tile roof and everything turned out great. We haven't had a leak, so that's good. It was our first time calling them and it was their knowledge that impressed us the most. more

Great service and satisfactory results 1/26/2016

We called Christensen Roofing to knock down our old roof and install a new one. We received wonderful service from them, they did the job within the time frame they promised and they were very professional and we were impressed with their workmanship. Excellent work and excellent rapport with clients. 1/15/2016

I requested Christensen Roofing to do work on an existing roof during an escrow and he he did great work. In another case I asked him to do a roof inspection for a client of mine and he is always very personable with the clients and really knows what he is doing and does quality work. I like working with him and will continue to do so. He has a great rapport with me and my clients. more

Painless and enjoyable experience, very happy 11/22/2015

There were so many things I liked about Christensen Roofing. Sid is very professional in his presentation and interaction, and at the same time very friendly. The crew reported to work at the agreed upon times on the right days, and completed the project on time as well. They also cleaned up well after themselves every day. I have clay tiles on my roof and the paper underneath needed to be replaced. I received a bid from a roofer who did a patch job on some tiles in 2008, and it seemed a little high so I looked up other places. The bid I got from Sid was substantially lower and very reasonable. He was about to head out for a week when we called him, so we scheduled it for when he got back and everything went off as planned. Their customer service was excellent; they explained the process and answered my questions. They completed the project as they said they would. My home is 35 years old and the tile was imported from Mexico, so it's difficult to find replacements. There were some cracked tiles that needed replacing and he managed to find some that fit in perfectly. He did a very nice job on that. The whole experience was very positive and the roof turned out great. more

I'd use them again! 11/6/2015

Christensen Roofing lifted my tiles and replaced the felt underneath because it was pretty old. Then they put the old tiles back on, plus some new ones in the places that invariably get broken when you change them. It turned out great and it looks beautiful. Their prices were excellent- they actually gave us the best estimate. I thought they were very professional. They worked very quickly and they knew what they were doing. The best thing about their customer service was working with Sid. He was very personable and knowledgeable, and he did a tremendous job. Christensen Roofing is a great company; this was an excellent experience and they were easy to do business with. I liked them and I would use them again. more

Exceeded expectations! 9/22/2015

We have had three roofs done on three different homes by Christensen Roofing and they were always on time, exactly on budget, honest, straightforward, and great to deal with. The people who came out to do the work were polite, courteous, and hardworking. Their pricing is comparable to others- it's not the cheapest, but it's not the most expensive, either. They are very dependable, and you get more value for your money as they look for ways to save you money in the job. In our current home, we had various leaks in the roof over the past 5 years, and Christensen Roofing came out to fix every one of them. This past year in December we were going to get the whole roof redone, but they said we didn't have to do the whole roof. The leaky areas they had already patched were fine and didn't need to be replaced. They said all they had to do was replace the area of the roof they hadn't already fixed. Other companies would have just redone the whole roof and charged me more for it, but Christensen Roofing was straightforward with me and looked for ways to save me money. I have used them to do my mother and brother's roofs as well, and my mother and the neighbors loved it. I would highly recommend them! more

Friendly and professional service at fair prices. 8/28/2015

My husband and I really appreciated that the owner of Christensen Roofing came out himself to do the consultation. He met with the both of us and we talked everything over. He answered all of our questions and was very courteous. He even took my husband up to the roof so that he could understand everything that was going to happen, and so that we would know what to expect. The crew that came was very efficient. They were friendly and professional. There was an issue with the color of the roof not being what we had picked out. We spoke with the owner and he resolved everything for us. They repainted everything free of charge and complaint. They did everything they could to ensure our satisfaction. They were an honest company with fair pricing. more

Professional and easy to work with. 6/12/2015

We worked with Christensen Roofing for two back-to-back house remodels, done a month apart, and the whole experience was hassle free. They worked with our busy schedules to get both jobs done on time. The made sure to keep us updated and contacted us immediately when problems arose. My mother used them five or six years ago, but we decided to go with them because of the interaction we had when they came out to give us the quote. They appeared very willing to work even though it was the middle of winter, and they explained everything to us so we didn't ever have to sit around wondering what was going on. Very professional crew, and just a pleasure to work with. I wish we could get them up to Idaho to work on more of our properties. more

Top Notch Worksmanship 1/13/2015

We needed to replace our roof paper and some broken tiles, and replace rotted and termite damaged wood throughout our 2 story home. After getting estimates from several other companies, I was most impressed by Sid Christensen. He is honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, experienced, and won't play games with pricing or products. No gimmicks, just fair pricing for honest, quality work. How refreshing! Sid himself went up on our roof to inspect the tiles, and examined all the eaves and fascia boards around our house to get an idea of what needed to be done. He then drew up a fair estimate and walked me through each item, point by point, answering any questions or concerns I brought up. He even came out a second time to speak with my husband. The work was completed ahead of schedule and for a reasonable price. His team was fast, considerate, and tidied up after each day's work. The workers paid attention to any input I had regarding the job, and were willing to ensure my satisfaction with the final details. I am very particular regarding the aesthetics of my home! I am relieved and satisfied to know that the work Christensen Roofing did on our home will keep it safe and secure for many years to come. more

High quality workmanship 3/24/2014

The level of integrity that Christensen Roofing has is beyond belief. I really value how much Sid stands behind his work. He has done many roofs for me and I can say that he's a very righteous guy. He and his crew are always extremely professional, hardworking, and polite. The prices are very fair as well. The last time that I used him was for a roof on my rental house about three years ago but I've been using his services for about 20 years. I'd highly recommend them. more
