I can only say positive things about Chicago Renovation & Development. They presented us with very high quality work for the first renovation job we hired them for. We asked them to renovate our bathroom and they truly did a wonderful job. We live in a vintage building so there were a lot of unique aspects of it that they had to work around. It was great that none of them knocked them off of their stride. We were having trouble with our hot water system and had went through three other plumbers before finding one that actually knew how to fix it from Chicago Renovation. I'm very pleased with the renovation. The new countertops, medicine cabinets, and tile floor are gorgeous. The prices were very fair and I was very satisfied with their level of competence. They were also really timely. They arrived at the time that they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was done on time with no problems whatsoever. I'd definitely recommend them! more

Great experience! 2/28/2013

We did a gut rehab and we were referred to Chicago Renovation by a friend who has used them several times over the last 10-15 years. We had a wonderful experience as the crews showed up every day and they were extremely professional and did quality work. The owner is very direct and lets you know what is going on whether you like it or not and resolves problems quickly. In spite of running into some major unforeseen issues, they were still able to complete the major renovation of our entire house without a major delay. This was our first experience, but we will use them again in the future. more

Complete 2nd Bathroom Remodel 1/24/2012

Over the past few years, I have had several different contract companies conduct renovations on my 2bed/2bath condo located in a Chicago high-rise. Looking back, I wish I would have known about Chicago Renovation as I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of their operation. My project consisted of a complete remodel of the 2nd bathroom. Everyone was extremely knowledgable and friendly to work with and their expertise certainly shows. I know that working on a high-rise project can be difficult due to building restrictions and smaller working areas. This did not become an issue at all during my project, even with unforeseen complications caused by working with an older buildling. Our building engineer even praised their abilities and professionalism and has asked for their information to refer on to other tenants. Throughout the entire process, I was kept informed on every aspect of the project and each timeline was met with 100 accuracy and quality of workmanship. I highly recommened Chicago Renovation to anyone and I will absolutely call upon them with any and all future renovations. more

High quality, responsive, and collaborative! 9/22/2011

We had a kitchen remodeled by Chicago Renovation & Development. It was a complete dud of a kitchen including walls and insulation. We had a gated kitchen from the late 80's but now we have a beautiful model kitchen which we love! They did work for us back in February of this year. We had used Chicago Renovation & Development before and I liked the work they did, so I decided to call them again. It was high quality, they were responsive when issues arose, and they were collaborative! more

I have had great experiences with CR&D since I hired them the first time 6 years ago for a complete bathroom remodel. They did the work on time, stayed in my budget and I was very pleased with the results. I hired them again 3 years later to do a complete family room remodel. Again, great work and very pleased with the results. more

We were worried about getting a remodeling company because of the horrior stories from our friends. We searched on the internet and found Chicago Renovation. We met with Brad and he assured us that his crew is the best of the best and will not hurt our living space. more

The Best High End Remodeling Company 5/16/2011

We are in Old Town and had a big project on our home. Most of the guys who actually showed up were lackluster at best with their presentation. When Brad showed up, it was a no brainer. The crew is best, work hard and have a touch that I can only assume few have. more

Electrical Problems, Solved! 2/8/2011

We needed to rewire the entire house/work space to replace the original (very old) system. Our home electronics and work computers were not properly powered with constant and clean electricity, which shortens their lifespan and was costing us money. Chicago Renovation gave us a realistic overview of the project including any issues we might run into. The installation was smooth and we are up and running years later knowing we have a solid infrastructure. more

We couldn't find a solid Winnetka remodeling contractor to do our kitchen and a friend told us about Chicago Renovation. I couldn't be happier with the work. If you want the best Winnetka Remodeling contractor, get Chicago Renovation. Best RB more

They helped investigate and repair a leaking shower leading to a bathroom redo. They were friendly, efficient, clean, responsive, trustworthy, great workmanship and helpful design ideas. Very good at problem solving and fixing it. We will definitely use them again. more

The Absolute Best 4/10/2010

In my 25 years in my condominium, we have remodeled many times. Of course, there were always delays, personality clashes and problems. When the need arose for bathroom renovation, I contracted with Chicago Renovation expecting the same old thing. What a pleasant surprise. The workers were polite, clean and efficient. Jerry, the foreman always responded with "You got it.", no matter what was asked of him. The work was superior, done on time and above any expectations I had.
