My name is James. I bought a bus from this company in the beginning of March. I was told by the person on the phone that the bus was in excellent condition with no rust. When the bus got delivered, it was terrible. I could not believe how much rust it did have on it. It was delivered from Chicago to Richmond, Virginia and I do not know how it got here on its wheels. Would never buy another bus from this company, and would never do business again! more

Clean, safe and on time. Arrive 10 minutes before with a clean car, the driver was very friendly and carring. They provide a car seat for my child. I really liked there services. You can really tell that they care about you and your safety. I recommend them! more

Like the others where do I begin. I was in a wedding on September 17th and they hired to drive the ladies from the hotel to the church and back after the ceremony. First the guy that picked us up had no personality and did not have a smile on his face. When we got to the church the bride proceeded to pay the driver. He counted the money in front of everyone and then made a comment that she was $100 short. She went on to inform him that the money that she gave him was what she was quoted plus the tip and he refused to back down on the price. Again I say she is standing there in her wedding dress 1 hour before her ceremony with everyone around and he is arguing with her. Needless to say someone else paid the rest for the time being and he was lucky that he did not get hit in the face from the groomsman. more

My sons birthday was Last Thursday. I have decided to order a limousine as a surprise for him. I have read some reviews online and decided to use chicago 5 star. I have known about chicago 5 star because my daughter goes to Maine West High School, and Chicago 5 Star was a part of their Auto Show. She told me they had great buses, and they had lots of fun in them. So I decided to take my daughters word and im glad I did. This company had made my son so happy and my whole family. It was a very reasonable price for a middle class family. I would use this company again and would recommend anyone to use it. more

Where do I begin? We called a month ago and got a quote for our July 2011 wedding. We were calling once a week with questions and were told they were open for our wedding date. We went to go see their party bus. Let me begin by saying that they run their ""business"" from the back of a UHAUL place. The ""driver"" shows up and when asked questions he didnt even know where their ""office"" was located. He showed us the party bus and the SUV and we liked them. We told him we wanted a contract to take home, he called the lady we had been speaking to n the phone. Some other woman, who we had never talked to, showed up in sweats! She was confused and didnt know what the hell was going on. Ten minutes after we left with a contract she calls us and tells us that they were not available the date of our wedding. This is the first we heard of this! We called thE following day 4 times and kept getting the run-around and never got a phone call back. I dont know what type of CIRCUS these CLOWNS are runnnig, but I do know that they made our decision for us. If we can't even get a phone call back how do we know they will show up for our wedding?! WE dont! In this economy they should learn to return clients phone calls! I mean, how hard is it! THIS PLACE IS A FRICKIN' JOKE! No office, no customer service, no brain! Party bus drove us to the location, but did not come back, and instead we were driven home in a Hummer, even though we ordered the bus. We left items on the bus, and were told by the driver that he would return with the same vehicle, but he did not come back. When I called the next day to retrieve my items, I was yelled at by the receptionist and told that I was going to be charged for damaging the Hummer. I am both confused and disappointed. more

I had a horrible experience with Chicago 5 Star Limousine. My friends and I booked a 22 passenger Hummer Limo for our prom and the limo was an 1and 45 minutes late and still made us pay what we would have been paying for over 1 hour of the service. My friends and I were not able to make it to our picture session and were almost late for prom because we only had the limo for 15 minutes. I wrote a letter to the company and it has been almost 3 weeks and I still have not have them get in contact with me. I recommend this limo service to no one. The driver and representative I talked to were rude when I was inquiring why the limo was not arriving and I was lied to. The representative told me that a new limo was on its way to pick me and my friends up because the original one had broken down but that was not true; the ""broken down"" limo was the one that came to pick us up. I received a damaged vehicle and went through much stress and shame, as I was the one who picked out the limo company and signed the contract. I felt that I was not being taken seriously (possible because I am 18?, was there some discrimination against me because I am not an older adult?). The highly rated service of Chicago 5 Star Limousine proved to be a false mirage that I was ignorant enough to believe.
