Chianti Grill goes to extra lengths to infuse simple Italian dishes with extra fat, e.g. pesto with cream sauce. One or two of the pasta sauces are lower in fat, but the pasta is badly cooked. Their idea of al dente is one step above soggy. The grated parmesan is tasteless, not having been aged sufficiently. Seafood linguini has excellent sauce, lots of shrimp, clam bits, unchewable artichike pieces, and some scallops, still very rich but in the seafood tradition with a red sauce, but the plate also had a lemon wedge and, insulting to many Italians, a large spoon, perhaps to twill the soggy mess. . Not a place for authentic Italian food.
Pros: Salads are good
Cons: They don't know how to cook pasta
