Chez Lilli

Here is where my experience went sour...the dress I was purchasing went up $400+ the day before I went to purchase my dress. (They were able to tell my my other dresses were being discontinued, but not fill me in on the dress I wanted). They didn't begin altering my bridesmaid dresses until the week before my wedding. (Made my bridesmaids get fittend two months prior though so no room for changes or time). One of my bridesmaid's dresses had a hole in it when she picked it up. Thank God my mother in law knew how to lace dresses because she had to cut the laces herself because they did not do that prior to sending the dresses with my bridesmaids. Two of my girls' dresses were too big for them and we had to have double ply tape to hold them up. They were rude to my bridesmaids, stepmother, and fiance. Not to mention, the last fitting I was put in a dressing room with my dress. The assistant told me, ""here you go"" and walked out. I had to get in my dress all by myself. Then I had to walk to the front of the store to find someone to lace me up. There were two men in there so I felt really uncomfortable being half dressed and having to find my own assistance. I was never a rude bride to them so I did not deserve all that went on with my services there. Over all I am very UNSATISFIED with my experience. If you want a place that will make YOUR day about YOU, please look somewhere's else. This day does not need more added stress of last minutes alterations on bridesmaids or anything else. It's about you. more

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We went to Norman's in Houma, LA and we browsing for 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged or greeted us. We left and went to Chez Lilli. We were greeted immediately and we were treated like royalty. We received all of the help we needed. more

I have always heard wonderful things about Chez Lilli, so I decided to make that bridal shop my first stop to look for my wedding dress. Needless to say, that was the only place I went. From day one, the staff treated me like a princess. I explained what I was looking for in a dress and Mrs. Elaine stepped up to the plate and found the PERFECT dress for me. Because my dress was so unique, there were plenty of road blocks along the way. The staff made sure though, that my dress was absolutely perfect before my wedding day. I live in the New Orleans area and had to travel down there for my fittings (I had a total of 5 final fittings because of my dress). The staff there was so flexible that they even opened early for me one day because I had to travel for a certain time. I would recommend Chez Lilli to any and everyone. They are an awesome team! I am from the area and went to New Orleans first to try to find my wedding dress. Every shop I visited in NOLA was sort of snotty and only had the high end gowns in tiny sizes. I finally settled on Chez Lilly one weekday afternoon with my mom and I fell in love with my dress there. Ms Elaine at CL was so helpful and sweet. She remembered me by name when I went back in and knew exactly what dress to bring for me to try on when I brought my friends and BM's to show the dress to. We are so pleased with the service level, we are ordereing everything thru them from the dress to the invitations! They are phenominal women which impeccable attention to every detail! Pros: great service, very friendly, always polite and helpful! Cons: more dressing rooms would be nice more

Great service! I came in here with my daughter looking to get her wedding dresses, etc. taken care of. The staff was very knowledgeable, were quick, and the service was very polite. Aside from getting my daughter's wedding dress here, we are also ordering the bride's maid dresses and the wedding invitations. I've been dreading having to go to many different shops trying to find one that will more or less please my daughter, but with Chez Lilli they took care of everything right away. I'm both relieved and very satisfied with our experience. Pros: Great location, ample parking, fast service. Cons: Nothing major. more
