Happy with the doctor! 4/25/2011

Have been to many other dermatologists for acne without improvements, my personal physician referred me to this doctor, believe me, it is the best thing yet. I'm happy with this doctors service and knowledge of her profession. she has been very good. Good job, keep it up. more

Properly attentive to me 4/19/2011

I came here to have my tattoos removed. I am very happy with the outcome and it didn't hurt that bad. I would recommend treatment from Dr. Ackerman to others who need their tattoos removed. more

Always quite attentive and pleasant 3/30/2011

I've been treated by Dr. Ackerman 5 or 6 times for various problems. She has always been professional, courteous, quick but cautious in explaining, diagnosing, treating, and follow-up. She is pleasant, courteous, a bit talkative. She is obviously very busy, but has always been properly attentive to me as to bedside manner. more

GREAT doctor! 3/29/2011

This is a great doctor. Yes, you nay have to wait but she is very thorough. Before going to her we had been to several dermatologists for a recurring problem the last few years. She was able to take cultures and diagnose the problem. Yes, she has tried several combinations of medicines to alleviate the problem but she is very good. She even came in on a day off to follow up. You NEVER HEAR of that. SHE is excellent. more

The best in my book 3/28/2011

I found Dr. Ackerman to be a well informed friendly doctor. I have been to many dermatologists over the years with my Psoriasis and the Dr. Ackerman was phenomenal. She helped with a new treatment that has been effective. I had an emergency issue when I first began treatment and she saw me that day. I felt well cared for and safe in her hands. I am happy that I found her and also thankful for the reviews that led me to her. more

Great and very helpful 3/28/2011

The office staff greeted me and was very friendly. The wait in the office was not long at all. When the Dr. came into the exam room she was very nice and took her time to listen to me and my frustration over my adult acne problem. She went over how to provide relief both from a cosmetic and pain standpoint. I thought she was great and very helpful. more

Phenomenal Doctor 3/24/2011

First off I must say that I am very puzzled about the negative post that were made about Dr. Ackerman. This Dr. has been nothing more than phenomenal. I started treatment with her a couple of months ago after many years of struggling with acne. I have been to many Drs. in NYC who were not able to help me the way Dr. Ackerman has done in the past couple of months. I have cystic acne which is one of the more severe formes of acne. It took a couple of weeks for me to see a difference in my skin. I am totally HAPPY with the results. I also had a acne scar removel treatment done which is very difficult to perform on African Americans because of potential keloids. The scar removal surgery came out much better than I would have ever expected. I would recommend Dr. Ackerman to anyone because she is very knowledgeable about her busniess and really catered to all my needs as her patient. Her office hours are also very convenient since I work in New York. She has been more than flexible with me. more

She was very informative and made recommendations that worked that no other dermatologist had even tried. I felt she was very caring and helpful and I will return. more

Friendly and professional 2/28/2011

I don't understand some of these reviews? I made an appointment since by best friend has given me such rave reviews of Dr. Ackerman. The office staff greeted me and was very friendly. I had a skin rash.My appointment was in time , the staff was helpful, and Dr. Ackerman was very knowledgeable and helpful.Dr, Ackerman took the time to diagnose the skin problem I had. The medicine she recommended was effective and it works.Dr. Ackerman is a nice and knowledgeable person and I will recommend her to all my friends. more
