Best

This is our 2nd move with them and once again we are VERY happy with the outcome. Our movers came early and were ready to go. They disassembled and reassembled our King size bed...

Worst

While the food is well done, the service makes the experience not worthy of repeating. I even gave the Cherry Cricket a second chance and once again they blew it. The second time ...

Yummy! 11/9/2006

Delicious burger! I've been there several times and have always had good food. Good green chile fries too! more

The Best Spot in Cherry Creek 11/3/2006

The Cricket is a classic. As the rest of Cherry Creek has changed over the years, the Cricket has stayed the same, which is a good thing. They have a huge variety of food, great atmosphere, and by far the best burgers around. After you eat here once, you will always think of the Cricket when you're looking for food in Cherry Creek... more

Best burger ever 7/28/2006

Hands down the Cherry Cricket makes the best burger you will ever eat in your life! I have eaten burgers just about everywhere and these are the best by far. However, be prepared to pay for it! The burger alone costs $6 and the each topping is from 50 cents to a buck or so. To top it off it doesn't come with any fries. Nevertheless, it is well worth the price! The French fries here are excellent and the drinks are good also. Highly recommended. Pros: Best Hamburger Cons: A bit pricey for bar food, can be really crowded. more

They added a new nonsmoking section! 2/9/2006

Finally, its kid friendly! Hidden in the back near the kitchen, it looks like a secret room, but its an addition for the nonsmokers...Mostly people wanting to eat their awesome burgers (2nd best in Denver) and drink some beer. The food is always reliable, if you are going to crash your diet, this is a good choice! Pros: awesome burgers, nonsmoking section, cheap Cons: main bar smokey more

Keep going back! 11/3/2005

We have been here too many times to mention. The food is always great, especially the appertizers, burgers and salads. The staff is always quick and friendly. It's one of the best people-watching places around. A college scene frequented by many of us old people, it makes for a fun time. Pros: Food, Service, Staff Cons: smoky more

Love this place...... 9/9/2005

The place is somewhat of a dump which makes it the best. The burgers are very good. Good service. Good people watching. Just lots of fun. We go here after week pretty consistently. Check it out. You will like it! more

Don't believe the hype. 6/14/2005

If you are a true Buuger lover, you will absolutely hate their burger. First of all it is a pre-formed patty, I mean like purchased in the hamburger shape. Second of all, there is no style to the condiments and bun. Plain old cheap hamburger. more

The best hamburger that I have ever eaten. The restaurant is so packed that I have a hard time waiting to get in though. more

Best burgers in town! 5/12/2005

The best burgers I've had in the area by far. Lots of options to customize, everything cooked to order, and great sides. The Cherry Cricket is a full service bar with a surprisingly good selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles/cans. Prices on pints and pitchers are very reasonable, too. Don't miss the Messy Nachos. They're an overlooked favorite and better than most from actualy specialty Mexican restaurants. The only downside is the horrendous Cherry Creek parking system, but it's usually safe to park in the VI lot next door. Pros: Burgers, Pitcher values, Nachos more

Overrated! 5/11/2005

By far, the most overrated burger in town. I hadn't been there in 20 years until last week and now i remember why: it is the GREASIEST BURGER in town and greasy does NOT equal great to me. I had a grease kick-back all afternoon and not even the cute waitress could do anything about that in her wildest dreams! Cons: NOISY, mediocre service, GREASY more

Denver's best burger 7/12/2004

This is simply the best bar and grille in Denver. Dozens of high-quality beer on tap, fabulous burgers and Mexican food, as well as a comfortable, friendly interesting vibe. I go there at least every other Friday night - as does most of South Denver. Crowded, but worth it. more

Mix it up 7/8/2004

They let you choose-your-own-burger-adventure! Pick your burger and pick from a variety of cool toppings. And then enjoy it, because you will! While you're at it, check out their bar - they have some interesting beers and ciders on tap and in bottles. This is not a place for kids though...smoke and stale beer. Pros: Good burgers, Good beer Cons: , Allow smoking more

The yuppieville alternative.. 6/5/2004

over rated... a noisey neighborhood bar serving average food. A long time-with-standing alternative to the other ""see and be seen"" eateries in the Cherry Creek yuppyville area. A place to hang have a drink and grab a snack... Pros: great for a bar, decent prices, classic interior Cons: , so so service, noisey more

Best bowl of green in Denver 4/8/2004

Scratch that. The best Green Chile I've had ANYWHERE on the planet! I understand they serve other food, but I don't see the point! Pros: Inexpensive Cons: , tough finding parking more

Rude 3/23/2004

Great food. Always fresh salads and best burgers in town. However, last time I went, the waitress told us to sit in the next booth. The hostess threw a fit because apparently there was a wait. It would have been nice if the hostess and the waitress communicated to each other. The hostess threw such a stink, we all ended up leaving. I asked to speak to the manager and he could care less about the issue. Good food, but be prepared to be treated rudely. Pros: Good food, inexpensive, good atmosphere Cons: , parking more

Okay 2/10/2004

I thought this was a great restaurant until the last time I went in and the guy checking IDs was rude and the hostess had a bad attitude. . .we didn't stay and probably won't be back, but in all fairness, the food is good, but not worth the attitude. more

MooOoOOooo! 12/30/2003

If I had been to all of the restaurants listed I might be able to assess who's the best, but I haven't, so all I could say is that I've eaten a LOT of burgers and this place is one of the best places I've been to. Does it stop with the food and alcohol? No, the menu/interior is creatively well done! This is what business should be about. This is the kind of business that I'd support. Pros: MoOOoooOOo!!, hamburger/beef, fries r also decent Cons: parking more

Great burgers 7/13/2003

Excellent burgers, probably the best in town of the thick and juicy ilk vs the thin patty type. Great tavern atmosphere; the service is friendlier than the usual beer joint waitstaff. Go for the for the fries; skip the rings. Excellent selection of beers. Pros: great burges, great fries Cons: smoky atmosphere more

Juiciest Burgers in Town 2/8/2003

You must order the big burger. The small burger is not as juicy or delicious. One order of french fries is enough for two people. I recommend the big burger. It's marvelous!! Pros: Inexpensive burgers Cons: Parking, Bar atmosphere more

slow, but fun 1/29/2003

Every time I go, I have to wait for a table and the food is slow. However I keep going! The food is great and the atmosphere is fun. I love the guac. more
