Chenal Lakes

I was a resident at Chenal Lakes Apartments from 2011 to 2012. I would have to say the customer service is the worst I have seen in 10 years of living in 17 different places. Jodi, a customer service representative, was nice until the lease was signed. after that point, hardly any customer service. This is especially true when it came time to renegotiate the contract. If you are a business person who travels and likes flexibility and understanding in their management when it comes to apartment living, Look elsewhere!!!! more

This apartment complex seems to only care about you when you first sign your lease and when its time for your renewal. First, I have dogs, I had one when I moved in, so I had to pay the pet fee, thats normal, I got my second dog, again another pet fee.. normal. Then I found out they made a mistake the year before with my first pet fee so I owed them $100 extra, then they told me the wrong price on my second dog and I owed them $50 extra. They refuse to work with me eve though it was their mistake. After nearly 2 years of renting there, I have yet to miss a payment, I missed one time and they didn't call but they left a notice folded in half on my floor. I never noticed this random piece of paper because I thought it was just nothing, since there was no indication that this was important since it was folded and placed in the floor, 3 days later I pick it up while cleaning to see that I owe a ton of late fees and added $10 a day to the late fees. I call immediately to explain the situation and they refus to work with me. They do not care about their residents and refuse to work with you even when they are at fault. I would never reccomend this place to anyone more

This apartment complex may seem nice to the outside view but it is horrible. The office staff are honestly some of the rudest people I have ever met. The apartments themselves are comparable to others and the scenery is nice. The problem is the staff, its not worth living there when you have to deal with terrible people. The apartments are way over priced and when you try to move out they will harass you and try to charge you as much money as possible. I lived here for 2 years, trust me on this!!! Also, most of the more positive reviews are from the office staff themselves. more

We have lived at chenal lakes for a year now and are about to sign another year lease! We love the lakes, that's where my husband spends most of his time, the kids play on the playground, and I work out in the fitness room. We like walking the trail and feeding the ducks and turtles. The office staff is friendly and maintenance fixes things very quickly. As long as my husbands job isn't transferred, we will be staying here a long time! more

I advice everybody to not come chenal lakes. they may look nice but they are not. I've just moved in yesterday. they are not good and will treat you in different way after signing the lease. they have manay tricks and hidden cost and roles. they will let you pay the water bill so you will share the cost of the Maintenance of the lake Pros: nothing Cons: everything is bad more

Awefule management, no common sense and total unwillingness to take any responsibility for their mistakes. This complex has gone downhill, many of new residents are of very suspicious nature, as if the management does not run any background check. The maintenance logo is ""if it doesn't look broken, don't fix it"", the management has it's own: ""Charge them"". Find a better place, that's worth your money.
