Mrs. B was an absolute delight to work with. We just celebrated our wedding on Sept 3, 2011 and Mrs B did 6 cheesecakes for us(various flavors) that were awesome!!! She also did her outstanding carrot cake for us with cream cheese icing that was to die for. I had her customize it with an edible decal of a tandem bicycle which was a bit of a challenge because the decal had some marks that needed to be hidden. She is the Grand Dame of bakers and every single item was a culinary masterpiece. She decorated each cheese cake differently and the display at the reception was a sight to behold. Can't recommend her highly enough!!! more

Mrs. B's wedding cakes are the best I've ever had. I was extremely satisfied with the entire process. Mrs. B is the sweetest lady to work with. She took time to sit with me and ensured that I was happy with my selections. We talked about the details that I wanted for my wedding cake. On my wedding day, my cake was everything I wanted and more. It was beautiful, every detail in place. The best part was that it was DELICIOUS. It was moist and tasted exactly like it is supposed to. I received a lot of compliments from my guests about the cake. If I ever need another cake or know of anyone who needs one I will definitly refer them to Mrs. B. She is the best!!!!! more

We wanted a different dessert for Thanksgiving this year and we truely selected the best alternative to apple pie and pumpkin pie. We had the pineapple almond cake that was so moist and delicious, I can't wait for our next event that we need a excellant dessert for we will be getting it from Mrs. B. She was a joy to talk to and when you walk in her shop you know you are going to enjoy the dessert just by the wonderful aromas. Thank you Mrs. B and maybe next time we can meet your hubby. more

Mrs. B cheesecake wedding cakes is a dream come true for any bride! She made my decision so easy. When my fiance returned home from Iraq, and was able to ""taste"" for himself, he was so impressed with my decision! \r \r Our wedding cake was not only beautiful, orignial, and delicious, but it was so affordable and a delightful treat for our wedding guests. I just wanted to say that Mrs B's cakes are not only beautiful, but they taste even better. My daughters wedding reception was absolutely perfect and the cake\r was a BIG hit. I made an appointment expecting the best experience ever based on these reviews... Big mistake. First off, if you want a regular cake, which she tells her customers she has, don't bother. She has 5 flavors (the cheesecake list is extensive, I will give her that) and none of the cakes I sampled were good. She seemed to have a terrible attitude upon arrival. She gave us 2 samples, not letting us know what they were, so we pretty much guessed. We started asking basic questions and she became irate when we asked about a guarantee! We asked what her policy was if the cake was damaged in transport or set up and she got angry!! In the end we found an excuse to leave so that we wouldn't have to listen to her freak out at us any longer. All in all, the regular cake is gross, she had an attitude, and this woman LOVES columns... more

I went to a wedding open house during the spring of 2009 where different vendors were promoting their services. There were two bakers on site providing samples of their cakes, and Mrs B was one of them. After tasting Mrs B's cake, I completely forgot about the other baker because her cake was soooo good and fresh! My wedding was later that year. As the 'big day' approached, I sampled some other cakes to be sure Mrs B was the best. One particular day, I went with my coordinator to a bakery, and they could tell by the look on my face that I wasn't impressed. I later met with them at Mrs B's bakery for a tasting. Afterwards, we sat in the parking lot for a few minutes and laughed. Why? They found out why all of the other bakers were not up to par. While some of the other cakes were pretty good, Mrs B's was by far the best. Everyone at my wedding agreed! I had a three tier cake. The bottom layer was chocolate and vanilla cheesecake. The top two layers was vanilla cake with chocolate filling. I recently had her make another cake for our anniversary. I will definitely use her services in the future. more

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. B on a wedding I had planned this year. At first I was hesitant about the idea of a cheesecake wedding cake but boy was I wrong!! Not only was the cake incredibly beautiful but it was so good that there was not even a crumb left at the end of the reception! I was lucky to have gotten a piece! It was delicious and I would use her services for wedding cakes anytime! more

My wedding was September 18, 2010 and we had our wedding cake made by Mrs. B after a suggestion from my best friend who had casually heard about her. I went online and read her reviews, and was very impressed with what I read...and even more so after speaking directly to her on the phone. She is so pleasant and sweet, and takes such great pride in her cakes.\r After my initial visit and tasting, I knew we were having our cake made by her, which she managed to turn around very quickly for us (we didn't give her much notice, but that sure didn't matter as far as the cake went!!). Our cake was a two-tiered cheesecake, key lime on the bottom and the top layer as strawberry-vanilla (which we froze, of course). The cake was nothing short of perfection, and my guests could not rave enough about the taste and how incredible having a cheescake wedding was!! What a huge hit!!\r I had my family over following the reception, and we ate another piece each at the end of the evening (which is why everyone stuck around so late, I found out!!). The next day, I caught my new husband finishing up the last piece out of the fridge, because it was just that irresistable!\r I can't wait to have our other tier in a year, but for now I must say this was the highlight of our reception, and just made the day perfect. The cake was so beautiful and delicious, thank you SOOOOO much, Mrs. B! I've already recommended her to friends and co-workers. more

My daughter was married on September 5, 2010. We met with Mrs. B to do wedding cake tasting. After sitting with her, chatting, and sampling the cakes, we knew we didn't have to go any further to find a cake baker. She spent a great deal of time with us and made sure that we were completely satisfied with all of the details. She is very personable and likable as well as helpful. She was a great help in recommending trusted vendors for other required wedding services which made our planning so much easier since we didn't have to do a lot of the legwork. When we arrived at the venue, the wedding cake was breathtaking. It was even more beautiful than we thought it would be. I believe everyone that had cake was surprised that it was cheesecake and of course complimented us on how good it was. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in cake vendors. My daughter also ordered a chocolate cake (not cheesecake) for the groom's cake. It was absolutely the best cake I have ever had. It didn't have the commercial taste that most cakes have and it was extremely moist. Her cakes are so irresistable that we couldn't wait for the wedding and ordered a yellow cake with strawberry filling for my husband's birthday prior to the wedding. Delicious! We are now her loyal customers for upcoming events and will recommend her to everyone. To add to that, Mrs. B is a great conversationalist and a pleasure to visit with. I hope that she won't mind us stopping in just to say hello in between doing business with her. We just love her which just adds to the experience! If you have been giving your business to anyone else, you are missing out! We had a 3 tier cheescake wedding cake by Mrs. B. There was a different flavor for each layer. White chocolate seashells all around, with pearls on the top layer, and brown sugar ""sand"" between the layers and around. \r \r Absolutely stunning! This was our splurge at our wedding and one of my favorite parts!! \r \r 5 years later, I still vividly remember Mrs.B and all the care and work she put into going above and beyond with our cake. The wedding was 9/12/08. We were very pleased with everything about the wedding cheesecake. We loved the look of the cake. We loved the taste of the cake. The bottom layer was choc/van, the middle layer was keylime and the top layer was coconut. It was excellent. Many of the guests have remarked on how delicious the cake was and several guests called us the next morning to ask if we had cake left over. They wanted more! Bottom Line: excellent cake at a great price. more

Hello everyone! I had the opportunity of receiving one of Mrs. B's famous cheescakes for my Bridal Tea. Everyone loved the chocolate vanilla cheesecake. No one even knew that is was a cheesecake until they cut it. Everyone took a piece home, but made sure that I (bride) had the last piece. It was very tasteful. People are still asking me for Mrs. B's address and telephone number for their upcoming events. Mrs.B's cakes are so good! Mrs. B. made our wedding cake in 2002. I was and still is the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. She made it exactly as I ordered and even met our florist at the reception hall to arrange the flowers on our cake exactly to our specifications, We only got the taste we gave each other at our reception but the top tier was just as good on our first anniversary!!! I would recommend Mrs. B to any bride who wants a wedding cake that is not only absolutely delicious but one that your wedding guests will always remember as being unique and DELICIOUS!! Mrs B was such a nice lady and I could tell she really cared about her customers and making them a perfect wedding cake! was also delicious and so beautiful!!!!!!!!!! I had so many guests at my wedding say the cake was AMAZING! I fully recommend her to ANYONE! more

Mrs B baked my wedding cake, and it was PHENOMENAL! There was none left, and although I only got a taste, everyone RAVED about it's greatness. Her examples are a tad dated, but if you take in pictures, she will replicate! She has a hard time sticking to simplicity, but this is due to her drive to decorate the cake! I wanted a cake that had a smooth finish (like fondant) with no piping or flair and it to be decorated with rose petals upon arrival. Since she felt it was to plain, she added piping and swirls of icing. Not what I asked for, but still looked great! Just be firm and have pictures ready! more

The cheesecake by Mrs.B is unbelievable!! Ten times better than cheesecake factory! I had it for my wedding and everyone raved about how wonderful it was! I highly recommend getting cheesecake for any party from Mrs. B! Best Cheesecake in town!! <--- anyone whos had her cheesecake can tell you the same!\r \r The only set back is that the cakes dont look like The Knot cakes, or Martha Stewart cakes, she doesnt work with fondant, and she does a lot of work with towers and the older roses, some of the cake designs that are from the 80's and 90's, but if you pick out something and show her, she can do some sort of design on the side.\r \r But, she still has the best cheesecake in town, so I thought that taste was better than design. Pros: Tastes really good! Cons: Designs arent the prettiest! more
