My daughter was married on September 5, 2010. We met with Mrs. B to do wedding cake tasting. After sitting with her, chatting, and sampling the cakes, we knew we didn't have to go any further to find a cake baker. She spent a great deal of time with us and made sure that we were completely satisfied with all of the details. She is very personable and likable as well as helpful. She was a great help in recommending trusted vendors for other required wedding services which made our planning so much easier since we didn't have to do a lot of the legwork.
When we arrived at the venue, the wedding cake was breathtaking. It was even more beautiful than we thought it would be. I believe everyone that had cake was surprised that it was cheesecake and of course complimented us on how good it was. We couldn't have been happier with our choice in cake vendors. My daughter also ordered a chocolate cake (not cheesecake) for the groom's cake. It was absolutely the best cake I have ever had. It didn't have the commercial taste that most cakes have and it was extremely moist.
Her cakes are so irresistable that we couldn't wait for the wedding and ordered a yellow cake with strawberry filling for my husband's birthday prior to the wedding. Delicious! We are now her loyal customers for upcoming events and will recommend her to everyone.
To add to that, Mrs. B is a great conversationalist and a pleasure to visit with. I hope that she won't mind us stopping in just to say hello in between doing business with her. We just love her which just adds to the experience! If you have been giving your business to anyone else, you are missing out! I would recommend Mrs. B for any up and coming event. :)
Mrs. B is located close to Haygood Shopping Center in a convenient little shopping center in the heart of Virginia Beach.
