As far as tire places go I can’t really complain. They give quick affordable service and are careful and honest. And the tires are good quality; I go there and most of my family takes their cars there as well.\r more

The place has a great combination of service, and prices. Gil is the man! I needed to have 4 tires for the SUV and two tires for the car, and he quoted me a great price. He had them take care of the tires as well as do an alignment and the price and service was excellent! Especially with the warranty!\r more

Recently we had bought a new/used car, and we noticed a slow leak in the tire. Went to Chatsworth Tires to see if they could patch the tire, only to find out that it had a bubble on the back side of tire. That wasn't really the bad news, it was ALL four tires had the same problem. We went ahead and bought four new tires from Chatsworth Tires. This company was so helpful trying to get us some kind of warranty adjustment when we did not even buy the tires there, We tried to get the car lot to help us, used CarFax to try to find where they were bought, keep hitting a block wall, but Thankful Chatsworth Tires was on our side, was able to help......Thank You more

Look Out 3/22/2011

Recently I dropped in to Chatsworth Tire Pros (21803 Devonshire St. Chatsworth, CA) for a new set of tires for my BMW. The tire technician completed the installation and had returned the keys to the casher. After having paid for my tires, I started my car and noticed that the brake pad wear indicator lamp was lit. It wasn’t lit when I dropped the car off, so I figured the technician had accidentally set the indicator off. \r \r After having approached a sales representative about the indicator lamp, he informed me that both my brake pads and rotors where ‘shot’ and needed immediate replacement. I informed him that I do all my own car work and that the pads had been replaced 14 months earlier. He informed me that the pads needed replacing and that he couldn’t reset the indicator lamp until the brakes where repaired.\r \r Although, it is true that the pads may have been worn, there is no doubt that the indicator lamp was not on when I dropped the car off. They brought out their Certified Mechanic who suggested that perhaps the brake fluid level was low, causing the light to come on. He says this while the car hood is open and the brake fluid level is clearly at its proper level. So, I left the shop (pissed off) with my indicator lamp still on.\r \r Once I had returned home, a quick front brake inspection revealed that breaks where worn down approximately 60%. However, the wear sensor was over 2mm away from the disc. There is no way that the sensor had come into contact with the rotor. After having checked the sensor with a resistance meter, the sensor was indicating that brake pad service was needed. This indication could only have been caused my the technician manually manipulating the sensor. On my car, once the wear sensor is set, it can not be reset and needs to be replaced in order for the indicator light to go out.\r \r I do understand that it is good business for the tire shop to inspect the brakes for their customers when the wheels are off the cars, but they shouldn’t have to stoop to such a level in order to force the customer into having the work done. I ended up changing out my pads and rotors about 8000 miles sooner than necessary.\r \r more

AMAZING SERVICE 12/12/2010

completely made my day. went in with a flat tire needing a repair. wasnt fixable and the salesman helped me out. got me a new tire and had it fixed very quick. the guys are very friendly and fast. i couldnt have asked for better service until i hit the cashier, the girls at the front were super friendly and on top of everything., one of the girls seemed to be pretty confused maybe just started but was unbelievably friendly. She helped me out with a friendly smile and made sure i left smiling and wished me a good weekend and happy holiday on my way out. It was great to be greeted with a friendly smile and than also be sent on my way with one. I will definitely be returning. your employees are amazing. THANKS CHATSWORTH TIRES more

ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!!! 2/27/2010

I went in on a busy, rainy Saturday afternoon needing to dismount my blown spare tire, and then mount/balance a used tire onto my spare tire rim. \r I was met before getting out of the car by a guy with a clipboard who greeted me as I stepped out and asked what I needed. I told him and then asked how much that would be - cause I am a cheapskate and know my way around cars and car shops). He said, ""$15."" Pleasantly surprised ($5 less than I was expecting and willing to pay), I said, ""Let's do it!"". He rolled the flat spare and used tire to the mount/balance shop and then checked me in as a new customer. They finished up in 20 minutes, and when I went to checkout, the gal told me, ""There's no charge for you today, Mr. P------."" I told her that there must be a mistake, and she said, ""No - it's free today!"" AMAZING! They even rolled the newly mounted spare out to the car in the pouring rain and put it in the trunk for me. As Arnold said, ""I'LL BE BACK."" VERY IMPRESSIVE in this day of rude, insolent, and largely uneducated people in customer service! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, Chatsworth Tires!! Pros: Not only did a good job, but did it for FREE! Cons: None I noticed - and I notice pretty much EVERYTHING. more

STAY AWAY 4/28/2009

On my way home last night I noticed a nail in one of my tires. It was about 6pm and I had been told that chatsworth tires was open later than other places so I thought I would take a chance. Upon arrival all the service bays were open and the employees were working on cars.I get in the office and after waiting 15 mins. while the guy behind the desk is talking with another customer. He tells me their CLOSED.When I ask him what time there hours are he tells me they closed at 5:30. Leaving me with wasted time, two kids in the car and a nail in my tire!\r GUESS HE DIDNT WANT TO MISS HAPPY HOUR AT LOS TORROS down the street.Never again will I ever do business here.Suprising in this economy that he can be so RUDE and still turn a profit. Cons: NASTY AND RUDE more

Best Tire Shop Period 1/25/2009

I ran a bodyshop for years just down the street - we always used Hank's shop. Now I'm going to drive from Ventura because I'm in the business (own a car dealership now) and Hank's Chatsworth Tires is worth the drive.\r \r #1 tire shop in L.A. area. Easy and quick - great prices. I have no idea what the other guy was talking about.\r \r Kevin Eckhart\r \r Pros: Always have what I need and get the job done quickly. Prices are excellent. Cons: Someone said shop was dirty - it's a TIRE shop, not a Nasa clean lab! more
