Charges for Service AFTER Death!!! 5/23/2009

To stop my Dad's service, I returned all the Charter equipment and showed them a death certificate for my Father. The rep said they would immediately cancel service. They are continuing to charge for additional service! So you can't get rid of Charter even after you die!!! What a way to run a business. If you search on Charter Cable reviews, you'll see many, many negative reviews for their customer service. They just don't care... more

Infuriating service (if you can even call it service) 9/25/2007

Charter Communications is the worst service I have ever dealt with!!! They are rude, unhelpful, and completely disorganized. It's been months they've kept me on the run around and I am still owed $79 for a piece of equipment I returned which Charter has sent back to me with no paperwork or explanation! Unreal!!! DO NOT USE THEM! Go with Verizon or Time Warner... much better service!!! more

Every month I have to call to sort out my bill because they take so long to process a check I always get a bill before they credit the account. Pros: TV Cons: price increases more
