Amazing Full Service Health Club! 7/15/2011

I love this club so much I don't know where to start! I have been a member for over two years, and the convenience of having this club uptown near my work location has allowed me the opportunity to work out more than I ever have. The staff is AMAZING! From the front desk, the locker rooms, and of course the instructors - everyone is knowledgeable, helpful and so nice! The amenities are also amazing. What other club up town has squash courts and indoor golf?!? Plus the fact the locker rooms have everything you need, include laundry service, makes this club the absolute best! more

Best health club in Charlotte, uptown or otherwise 4/13/2011

I've been a member of the Charlotte Athletic Club since 2008 and it has ruined me for any other facility. The trainers and staff are great, and the group classes are very well run. The layout and feel is just right. Serious enough to get a well focused workout, but nothing even remotely intimidating. The locker rooms and equipment are consistently clean (a must for a ""germophobe"" like me) and parking is easy (and validated!) Not much more I could ask for in a club. Check it out and see for yourself. If you're like me, you'll find yourself actually looking forward to working out again. Hope this helps! more

Best Health Club Around! 12/20/2010

From locker rooms to caring staff to all the latest equipment, this club has everything I have been looking for in fitness. They seem to have a solution to every obstacle and they don't sacrifice cleanliness or cool decor either.\r \r Sign up was so easy and now so is being a member! Walk in, work out, clean up, and head on my way. Even parking is a sinch and that's a pretty big deal up here. I'm impressed. Even though there is no contract, I won't be leaving anytime soon! more

Amazing locker rooms! 3/24/2010

I love working out at CAC!! Since they do my laundry, it is super easy to get in and out in the morning. The trainers are great, and I love the yoga classes! Pros: Lots of equipment, not too crowded, love the yoga classes more

Hidden gem in uptown 3/23/2010

So glad to find CAC after moving here from the west coast. Never too busy. Great clientele & staff. Very clean, modern, open, and bright. Laundry service is clutch! Pros: Upscale, modern, laundry, spa, location more

best high end sports club in town! 3/12/2010

been a member for over a year now. what a great find as i was looking for something other than the Y. Great basketball games at lunch and in the evenings...enjoyed the laundry service they provide as well. not waiting for a treadmill, machines and free weights is really nice as well. 5 stars for CAC. Pros: Full court basketball, golf simulator, squash Cons: none really more

Great club! 3/10/2010

I have been a member of the club for about 7 months and have been really pleased with my experience. I can get a great workout in without waiting for a machine or treadmill even during busy times, and there is a wide selection of equipment. The group classes are intimate, but very challenging. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the club atmosphere is casual and comfortable. One of my favorite perks at the club is the laundry service. Its so nice to not have to lug a bag back and forth from home. I have also had the best deep tissue massage of my life at the club. I would definitely recommend the club to anyone. Best gym by far! 3/3/2010

This is by far the best gym that I have ever belonged to. I especially like the daily laundry service for your gym clothes. I don't have to haul them back and forth from my home. The equipment appears to all be state of the art. Great squash courts and golf simulator as well Pros: Laundry service for gym clothes!!! Cons: Have not found any yet! more
