Champion Honda is by far one of the worst motorcycle shops in the area. I was warned about their terrible customer service but still decided to give them a try. I should have went elsewhere. I had taken by bike in for some routine maintence and got my bike back in worse condition than when I dropped it off. They damaged a few parts on my bike and did not take any blame for it. It is now not rideable and it will cost me a few hundred dollars for the parts that were damaged by Champion Honda. Randy has no clue how to treat customers nor how to communicate with them. I hope that this review helps the next person from making the same mistake that I did. more

I recently purchased a Ducati ST3 used from an awesome BMW-Ducati dealership in Charlotte and planned on using Champion as my service department here at home. What a difference in professionalism. I have made two attempts at getting an appointment for fork seal replacement over the last three weeks. Both calls went exactly the same- gave my name, number, make and vin# ( to check and see if they have parts available) to never hearing back! It's been three weeks since first call; the second call last week was like they had never heard of me, and again no response. Wow, guess I'll double my drive time and head to Moto Gizmo of Columbia? more

I had a great experience with Champion Honda, BMW, Ducati. I went in a few days ago to check out a used bike that was sitting on the lot. After speaking to Harry (sales manager) I was surprised to hear how high the asking price was. He fully admitted that they do inflate the asking price a bit because a lot of people like to negotiate and if they advertised their lowest price those people would view the dealership as inflexible. In the past I have had negative experiences with champion honda ducati, although I was so interested in seeing the new 848 dark, that I returned just to look at the bike. Upon my arrival I was shooked to see that the dealership is under new management, and there are new guys in the service and parts department. They were actually very helpful and nice, this time. I might even buy that 848 dark from them, they were not that unreasonable. more

There are so many things wrong with this motorcycle store. Let me list a few and go into detail as to why this place is awful. First Randy, one of the managers is a salesman to the core. He cares absolutely none for your personal safety or happiness. He cares about selling you a bike. He would and has sold a 1000cc motorcycle to an incapable and unsure rider who has never ridden before. What a truly awful way of thinking. Second their service is absolutely terrible. I called the service department and was placed on hold for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes I finally hung up. This isn't really a problem, I figured hey you know they are probably busy as hell. So I geared up and rode down to Champion to talk to the mechanic in person. When I got there the mechanic was sitting next to a bike not 10 feet away from the phone that was ringing for twenty minutes. Now I'm a little irritated. Talking with him was like talking to a brick wall. He made no eye contact and talked into the motorcycle he was working on. No introductions, no greetings, no anything. He made it very clear that he did not care about my motorcycle or myself. Therefore I left and did not give him my business. I also noticed their hourly wage sign that read 90$ per hour for any bike that isn't Ducati or BMW and 45$ per half an hour for Ducati and BMW.... THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. This is truly the worst motorcycle store I have ever gone to and I most certainly will NEVER buy a motorcycle or anymore parts from them. I would rather drive to Greenville to buy a new Ducati from them than buy from Champion. I was considering buying a new Streetfighter, however I have been so turned off by their business practices that I will now take my business to Charleston Powersports instead. Sales & Parts - This dealer is highly suspect to resorting to empty promises that border on lies and deceit, which all have been verified by sister dealerships and industry specialists specializing in the brand (ducaiti, bmw, etc) in question. This is a collective opinion amongst several established individuals who have purchased over 10 bikes from Champion in the last 2-3 years. Why buy so many bikes knowing this? Well, no more. It would be a shame to support such an awfully managed dealership when there are so many other properly run stores in need of cash flow. \r \r About the only thing they have going for them are the brands themselves, a great mechanic named Shad, who is probably overworked and underpaid, and a young parts-girl wizard named Corey. The other parts whatever is a rotund, big-mac eating, food all over his shirt, talking with his mouth full (of excuses and big-mac!) waste of space and precious oxygen. \r \r Someone, please take the opportunity to buy these guys out and create a proper dealership that represents the brands respectfully and ethically.
