Exceptional 2/28/2015

This company has the customer service we all dream about and is rare these days. From the first phone call, a pleasant human voice within one ring (Julie), to scheduling and onsite in the same morning within 2 hours. Jonathan, the service technician was outstanding to say the least. He was knowledgable, he gave me options, he was a great communicator, and a great man. I am in the residential remodeling business so I work with these types of companies and simply put I will say, I was very, very impressed. Thank you all. I highly recommend your company. Shawn did a Great Job! 2/13/2015

Shawn was very kind and courteous during his visit. He was helpful and fixed damaged wiring on the thermostat. He showed me a picture of the units on the roof which no one has ever done before. Outstanding and not over sold! 2/11/2015

We had trouble with one of our units almost annually when the temperatures got cold. Our downstairs unit would always freeze over. I called Champion and they sent a tech out and made some bandaid fixes...it was what we wanted to do as we thought there was still life left in the unit (10 years old). After a couple try's we determined that the coils were bad and leaking. Ultimately Jon Weixel had Chris Stokes come over and we all discussed options. While they were here they found an improper duct system that has plagued our home since we purchased it 10 years ago!! We ultimately had one system replaced by Ralph and Jose. They too were very good and spent the entire day at our home so we could have heat that night. Thanks to the entire team. To include the customer service reps as they called every time a team was on the way so I could minimize sitting and waiting at home for 4-8 hours like some companies do. 5 stars--Excellent overall experience 1/19/2015

Our heat pump suddenly stopped working during a cold night last week. I did quick research on 3 well known San Antonio companies before selecting Champion to make a service call. I almost never write reviews--good or bad--- but my overall experience with Champion was excellent ranging from the initial contact on the phone (very courteous and more important than many companies think), and the service technician (Shawn) who did an outstanding job of explaining the options and the best solution for a replacement heat pump for our house, to the installation team (Roland and Joe) who arrived very promptly, worked hard to make sure the new heat pump was up and running that day, explaining how to operate the new unit and taking care to protect the floors, etc. during the installation. The Champion team earned a 5 star rating based on my experience with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service. My awesome Repair Tech 1/16/2015

People! You need to know that Shaun & John are amazing! They came right in and figured out the problem that a competing company had caused, provided payment options and saved my freezing house and transformed it to become a warm home again! I am signing up for a maintenance contract to make sure Champion takes care of me from now on! PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL,EXCELLENT SERVICE 1/9/2015

I RECENTLY HAD PROBLEM WITH MY AC/HEAT PUMP UNIT. JOHN WEIXEL CAME AND RESCUED US FROM THE COLD. NEXT DAY JASON AND CHRIS CAME OVER AND REPLACED THE OUTSIDE UNIT. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT ON WHAT THEY'RE DOING. OVERALL, I GIVE THUMBS UP TO ALL THE STAFF FROM ANSWERING THE PHONE FOR MAKING APPOINTMENT UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE. trustworthy friendly service 1/1/2015

Jon and his team installed a new heater in my home recently. I've had several other companies out to try and fix the heater. I felt like they were all taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about the system, and they all tried to sell me expensive units. Jon tried a few inexpensive fixes and made sure I understood the system and had all the information I needed to make a decision whether to keep trying for repair or move forward with replacement. He didn't pressure me either way and seemed genuinely interested in me making the choice I would be happy with. Ultimately I chose replacement, and he helped me choose the right unit for my home, which ended up being one of the least expensive units. I never felt pressure to buy beyond my means or to get extras I didn't need. Every person I interacted with, on the phone and in person, was respectful and helpful. The service team moved my furniture carefully and swept up the floor on the way out so when they were finished it was like they had never been there - except the house was nice and warm on one of the coldest nights this year. Service was fast too. I called for service one day and had a new heater the next. I'm a new customer and now a loyal customer. Thanks Champion AC! more

Excellent Service-Thank You 11/28/2014

I meant to write this sooner, in the latter part of September our central AC broke down and it was still hot. I called several companies, but was conflicted on which one to choose. One of the companies, that sounds like "John Wayne" charge me $100 to access my AC and wanted extra money for items I learned that are standard, e.g. a heat pump. I am so glad I found Champion, the staff was quick to respond and conducted themselves in an ethical manner. I was impressed and now we have a Carrier AC that works wonderfully and the heat is works just as well. RESPONSE FROM Champion AC: Thanks for taking the time to review our company. excellent customer service 11/19/2014

Jon Weixel was as professional a technician as I have seen, and I have 30 years in construction. Being unfamiliar with new technology I wasn't confident to attempt repairs myself so I called Champion because I had seen the ads on a Spurs game. I expected to be barraged with high pressure up-sales, but Jon was pleasant, very knowledgeable and highly professional. I opted for the band aid for now but am convinced that Champion has customer service ahead of high pressure sales. I definitely recommend Champion. Amazing Service 10/22/2014

Justin, Jason, and Chris did an amazing job at repairing my old system to get me through the weekend and then installing my new 16 seer Trane system. It's amazing at how cold this system gets my house compared to the old 13 seer Carrier. It not only works great, but it looks good too! Jason's communication during the install was superb. He could have just installed what he was told, but instead informed me of the serviceability and air constraint problems with installing the media filter on top of my unit. Justin quickly called and worked out a solution to install the media filter in my front grille and even brought it out before the install was completed. I really appreciated the honesty and pride they had in their work. I definitely paid a pretty penny, but the service was second to none. Thanks again for the awesome A/C and amazing service! more
