We had problems with water spots building up on the glass which the the Glass Sealant was supposed to prevent. We were under warranty when we called for help and the sales rep was sent out. He said there should not be the build up and they would get back with us. The service department called back and told us that we had not cleaned the glass enough because we had not bought enough of their cleaner. They didn't ask questions or anything, just said the warranty was void. My wife had cleaned the glass more frequently than the weekly cleaning required in the warranty and we explained all of that and they denied the claim. Even a letter to the owner was not acknowledged. Out of the goodness of their heart they sent a do it yourself cleaning kit..... wow - thank you.....:(. I wouldn't buy from them if they were the last company in business. more

Great respose from the office to the installation and follow up, better than I could have hoped for. The estimator especially was very prompt and proffessional and helped me avoid some problems by going over all the options and daily use issues. We recently replaced our Century Shower Door shower in our downstairs bath. The prior Century Shower Door enclosure that we had was well built and lasted for 27 years. But, it needed replacing due to hard water build up on the frame. Anyway, the new replacement shower enclosure is not near the quality of the old one. In fact it is of poor quality. Most importantly, I have concerns about the structural integrity of the new door as it has a severe wobble. I was told by 3 different inspectors and by the Sales Manager that there was nothing they could do about it. And one of the inspectors even told me that he has the same door and it wobbles too. Which tells me that the company finds mediocrity to be acceptable in what they make and how the sell it. I, do not think is acceptable and will not purchase any product from Century Shower Door again. This was not an over-sized shower door by the way (as I was told that if it was over-sized, I would have had to sign a waiver because of the wobble more

We recently replaced 2 shower enclosures with frameless enclosures. The 2 installers that showed up were professional and left no mess at all. It was a very painless process. more

We remodeled our master bathroom and called them for an estimate. Our rep. was thorough, explained the process, and pros and cons of a framed vs. frameless shower door. Gave a detailed estimate and made it easy to decide not to go with the other company that gave us a general estimate without many details. more

The installation was fine except for a large blob of clear cauking in one corner that tended to harbor mold. The shower door knobs' plastic washers fell off and the knobs got loose as time passed, difficult to reach the little holes that were used to screw them on tightly. After 3 years of normal use, the shower door cracked into a million pieces! Clearly, poorly designed! more

I had my frameless door installed barely two years ago and it went out of adjustment so much I could not close it. It started shifting slowly a while back, however I just did not pay much attention since I could still close it. When I called the company and the rep came over to take a look, he told me that this hardly ever happens. He agreed that it could not be my fault, (you would have to hang from the door daily... maybe), but unfortunately my warranty had expired and I would have to pay $250 to have it reset. He said he would look into getting a price break with his supervisor, and would call me back. I waited days and no one called. I called and did not find him. Finally I received this 8 page contract talking about asbestos, liability and bla bla bla for the price he originally quoted. more

Everything from the measure to the install was great. I would say it was the best experience out of all the remodeling in my home. A great finish to the re-designing of my home. Pros: nice, kind, honest people, very reliable product more

I do not recommend century shower door. I ordered a unit from them it took 4weeks to to have it installed. I paid top doller for my so called frameless shower.When the installers did show up i was not impressed the did not look,sound or act like pro's. I could here them in the bathroom complaining about the company about the pay and the way the employees where being treated by their bosses.after i had it installed i started looking around at other glass co. My fault should of done it B4. Ive found i paid 35%to45% more than i could have for the same doors. Do not make the same mistake. more

We ordered a frameless shower from Century. Currently we are in the 66th day of the install. The installers have been at the house 4 times and we still do not have a shower that level and the door closes properly. The first installer measured wrong, the second installer brought the incorrectly measured shower to our house, the third installer installed the shower panel without the towel bar, the fourth installer claims the hinge is 1 1/4 inches in because the tile is 1/32 inch off. Do not order shower enclosures from this company. more
