Horrible, just horrible! 6/14/2013

I had a Groupon certificate that I received for Center For The Healing Arts in Sterling Heights, MI. I called to make an appointment one month prior to expiration. It was two weeks from that call. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule the appointment. But, the massage place stated they did not have any time open for another two weeks on that Friday. I arrived at my appointment and the extremely rude receptionist demand that I pay more money because my coupon expired the previous DAY. I explained I tried to come in sooner but they said I could not, and yet denied my coupon. I'm a very fair person, but this situation is ludicrous. They've taken money for a service they did not perform. more

An amazong gift. 10/1/2010

My fiancee sent me to the Center for the Healing Arts as a gift to relax and energize. (I work full time, take part time college classes, just purchased our first home-a fixer upper, and have been trying to plan a wedding as well.) The Center was amazing! Lori was my massage therapist. She has a wonderful personality, a very healing touch, and was very informative. I learned more about how my body was reacting to all the stress in a 50 minute massage session then my doctor had been able to determine in a year of visits. I'm learning new ways to listen to my body. And Debbi did an amazing job on a facial and wrap! My skin felt amazing and the cobination of organic products she used allowed my acne pron skin to heal and balance. She even sent me home with a small goody bag and info on the products. Everyone at the Center were like family by the time I left. This is definetly the place to go for a professional and friendly atmosphere where everyone has so much knowledge about their profes more

I have been going here for a few years now and it's always very relaxing and well worth it. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking to get a massage. Plus they are open 7 days a week, which is another plus. more

Wonderful atmosphere, very relaxing! 12/4/2007

I had my first relaxation massage here yesterday, which was wonderful! Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, warm environment, left feeling like I had just slept for 8 hours. Cons: None! more

An Island just off the coasts of Heaven 12/4/2006

When I first stepped into the Center for Healing Arts a few months ago, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had initially gone there for a lecture on angels a few months ago (please see my other reviews). But the Center had come highly recommended by a few friends who are into Massage Therapy. At first, I wasn't all that comfy with going to a strange place to get a massage, but after some coaxing from friends, I swallowed my fears, made an appointment and went.\r \r It was like stepping onto a little island just off the shores of Heaven. \r \r The atmosphere is what hits you first with a subdued and relaxing motif. It's peaceful and quiet like a library, but the feeling of course is vastly different. Just standing in the reception area, you get this feeling that you're in store for something good, even though you don't know what that is exactly.\r \r I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and my Massage Therapist. They helped to ease my trepidation about the visit and as soon as I was on more

Center for the Healing Arts 6/9/2006

I have been a client at Center for the Healing Arts for years. They have a large array of services that they offer including massage, reflexology, colonics, body work, and classes. Their prices are much more reasonable than you find at traditional day spas, and the atmosphere is clean, calming and welcoming. Plus, they are open seven days a week! I have been to the "best" spas in metro Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, etc. and have yet to have a better massage than I get at Center for the Healing Arts. It is truly a place to go to heal you're body and soul. PROS: Proffessional, nice atmosphere, affordable prices, open 7 days a week CONS: None! more

This place is amazing 12/4/2005

I recently started taking classes here and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The center itself is completely relaxing and the minute you step inside you instantly feel at peace. Even though I myself am a student I am def scheduling a reflexology session for myself. What better "homework!" I recommend this to all my family and friends and they've had nothing but raves. more

Very relaxing 11/3/2005

I was given a massage as a gift from a friend for my birthday here and it was wonderful. We both had one and it was so relaxing. They are very professional and make the environment so relaxing. It was a day of doing nothing but being pampered! more

Great massage! 7/27/2005

I was given a gift certificate from friends to this wonderful place and I am so glad because I experienced a fabulous massage here. I had the pleasure to being introduced to Lori, who is amazing. Although I was several months pregnant, she accommodated my special needs and concentrated on the sore spots. I found the support staff to be excellent. The atmosphere is a bit on the new age side but is very relaxing. The prices are reasonable and comparable for other massage centers. Be sure to sign up on their mailing list so they will send you coupons. more
