Dr. Gasch is a fantastic Dermatologist. My daughters and I have gone to Dr. Gasch for 10 years. We have found him to always be professional, knowledgeable, warm, and extremely friendly. He has always addresses our issues and follows up with blood work if needed. The staff is helpful, friendly and I recommend Dr. Gasch! more

Great doctor!! I'm really surprised by some of the bad reviews here. My experience with Dr. Gasch and his office has always been great. Dr. Gasch and his staff have always been professional and respectful. I've never had a long wait to see Dr. Gasch for an appointment (quite the opposite) and I've never been treated rudely by anyone in his office.\r \r Dr. Gasch himself is a fantastic doctor! Love him! He cleared up a problem I have been having - a genetic condition - that other dermatolgists had not been able to do anything about. I was feeling pretty hopeless about it until I went to Dr. Gasch. He's put me on some medication (which no other doctor previously had thought of) and monitors my blood work every 6 months to ensure that there are no adverse side effects - that gives me peace of mind. And my problem is fixed! He is really kind, empathetic and a very effective doctor. His medical assistants and PA's are great too. \r \r I love that at the end of the visit, I get a printout of everything I need to do. \r \r Overall, a great experience at this office. I would highly recommend Dr. Gasch. more

Office staff is really bad! Not very friendly. Take forever to answer the phone. I have been put on hold 10 - 20 min at a time ?! Long wait time in the office for apts - even morning apts. \r Aestheticians are good. \r Dr. Gasch is a good Dr but he does talk really fast. A typical conversation with him leaves me confused. He has an assistant that types up what he says so you can read it. It is kind of weird. more

Office staff is terrible. Poor customer service. I have been on hold for 10 min or more. They frequently are slow to pick up and answer. Long wait times in the office before appointments. The aestheticians seem nice but there are lots of places for aesthetic dermatology / laser. If I hadn't signed a package deal, I wouldn't go back. more

At last - I'm starting to like my skin(!) 11/1/2011

I like Dr. Gasch quite a bit, and have been seeing him for nearly 2 years since my insurance changed and I had to switch dermatologists. He's very personable and engaged, listens to my concerns and preferences, and works with me when it comes to alternate approaches and medications as I don't have much money and I'm super sensitive to medication side-effects. Initially I had recurrent, frustrating problems with some of the staff (medical assistants and reception) but I liked Dr. Gasch enough that I didn't want to leave the clinic, so I spoke to a nurse (Erin, RN or LPN) who was very receptive and she notified the office manager who contacted me pronto. The ofc mgr was also highly receptive and agreed that the ""issues"" were unacceptable (lack of and mis-communications, sometimes unprofessional attitudes), and assured me the doctors would be notified and together they would work on the problems. My most recent visit was great, and the medical assistant (Jarrett) was terrific - all the previous problems seem to have been resolved. I really appreciate this kind of response to patient feedback. Dr. Gasch took me off of a dangerous medication that was no longer necessary, AND now my skin is in the best condition it's ever been in - finally in my early 50's, I'm starting to like my skin! And that is due to Dr. Gasch's treatment. more

Great Doctor 4/25/2011

I am a doctor myself, and I know a great doctor when I meet one. Dr. Gasch is giving me laser treatments for scars on my face. After one treatment I already notice a difference. It is amazing. Other people have noticed the difference and made nice comments. Also, he cured a foot fungus that I had for decades that many other doctors failed to cure. Worst Doctor I've Ever Seen 3/28/2011

I went to see Dr.Gasch for Breastfeeding Thrush. He made the mistake of prescribing me medications that were not safe to take while breastfeeding. When the testes came back It turned out that he did the wrong test. He offered to do another one at no charge but at this point I was afraid to let him near me. Dr.Gasch was rushed and had less then five minutes to spend with me, he was distracted and had trouble listening to my concerns and questions. more

I have been seeing Dr. Gasch for several years now and he is the best dermatologist I've ever been to and I've been to several over the years. I have a couple of chronic hereditary conditions that have never been under control until I started seeing him. He is always very warm and willing to listen. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so! more

Not impressed. 9/14/2010

Dr. Gasch seemed scattered during the appointment and what he told me did not match what his nurse typed up to give me as I left. He recommended only very expensive treatments without options or explanations. His nurse did not return my calls for a minimum of multiple business days, if at all. He offered to sell me over the counter products ""that may be hard to find"" only for me to find them at multiple drug stores with a retail price of almost half what Dr. Gasch sold them to me for. In general: disreputable and not recommended. I did give 2 stars because the expensive treatments worked at least. When my family found a new dermatologist and described the previous treatments as part of the medical history, the new doctor rolled his eyes and said ""Let me guess... Dr. Gasch?"". There are 7 dermatologists in this suburban town. How did he know which physician had led us down this path? Enough said. more

Took time to explain and take care of me 7/27/2010

I found Dr. Rydzik online and am glad I did. She was very thorough and took all the time to explain my diagnosis to me. One of the things that I went into the office for needed treatment and instead of making me come back at a later date, she took care of it right then. I will recommend her to my family and friends. As for the office staff, it was nice to find a place that was friendly and outgoing...not stuffy. Pros: Took the time to explain things thoroughly more

Dr. Rydizk is attentive, compassionate, friendly and thorough. She made me feel comfortable and took time to listen and answer all my questions. 30 Minute Wait 5/18/2010

Scheduled a 0745 appointment and the staff promptly took me back to the exam room. They handed me my gown and said the doctor would be in. I sat in the room for 30 mins listening to the medical assistants gossip outside my room. No one ever came in to give me an update. I put my clothes on and walked out. As I was walking out one of the MAs said that I would be next to see the doctor. I never received an apology and will give my money to someone that appreciates my business. more

Excellent care for my newborn boy 1/6/2009

We were guided to Dr. Rydzik from a friend of our family and found the service and care to be excellent. They were very easy to find, just off HW 26 right next to St. Vincent Hospital. I have never been to any other dermatologist before but would recommend Dr. Rydzik to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring and professional dermatologist. Pros: Easy to Find, Limited Wait, Excellent Care Cons: None so far more

Dr. Rydzik Is So Friendly 8/13/2008

I had an appointment at the St. Vincent's location w/ Dr. Gasch's partner Dr. Rydzik. She was so professional and offered advice on everything from what to do for a heat rash to how to treat my current skin conditions. Excellent Dermatologist--Great Care for my 10 year-old Son 5/26/2008

I took my son to his first dermatology appointment with Dr. Gasch last week, and I was pleased by the fantastic service and attention Dr. Gasch and his staff gave my son. The technicians set him at ease right away, and he was still talking about how nice they were on the drive home. Dr. Gasch was thorough in his exam and confident in his diagnosis, which is something we haven't gotten from any other doctor we've been to in the last 1 1/2 years my son has had his skin problem. We saw a dramatic difference right from the first treatment! A big thanks to Dr. Gasch and his technicians for the great service they provide. My whole family will be going back to his office for our skin care in the future. more

An outstanding Dermatologist 5/22/2008

I have been to Dr Gasch four times now and I am extremely pleased with the results. He is extremely knowledgeable and confident of his diagnosis. I have had several malignant spots removed and two Laser treatments to rejuvenate my skin. What a huge improvement. I have received endless remarks from family and friends on how much younger my skin looks. Through the whole process Dr Gasch and his team were wonderful. I never felt pushed in to any thing unnecessary, and everything was explained to me at a level I could understand. ***Beware*** There are better doctors out there.\r ***Beware*** 5/8/2008

There are better doctors out there.\r You are not always getting treated by Dr. Gasch. Sometimes his assistant is doing it. I got horrible bruising when his assistant treated me. I've had this treatment countless times elsewhere without any side effect, but I wasn't so lucky here. In the future, I'm going to another dermatologist. Pros: Learned to be more cautious of new doctors. Cons: Sometimes you are treated by someone other than the doctor more
